Finally! The bread machine cookbook has all the basic recipes. The usual suspects are white, wheat, pumpernickel, molasses, and French. The trick? She gives you several recipes for bread. For 8 slices of bread, you get one pound. 2 is for a loaf of bread. Three is a loaf or 18 slices. The instructions are easy to follow. I am looking forward to trying many of the 8 slice recipes because I hate wasting 1.5 pounds of fresh bread.

Good recipes.
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
Have a lot of breads to try in this book. My bread is usually a nut bread. I use the 112 pound contents and the machine bakes it as a loaf. The bread is too high when I use 2# contents.

Is this a joke?
Derived From Web , Mar 6, 2022
There are a lot of pages. The first page of my book is 50. Page 9 is two pages later. You have to look to find the second page of the split recipes. Worthless! I will be back! Most of the recipes say to place ingredients in bread maker as recommended by the manufacturer. I do not need a recipe book for that.

Good bread, odd measure (2/3 tsp?)
Derived From Web , Mar 2, 2022
Does anyone have 13tsp measuring spoons? Is it 23 grams? That is what the recipes state for salt. I'm confused. I tried the French bread and it was great. I knew how much it would be. There is salt. Did you notice that there is another recipe that calls for 13 grams of salt? I'm still giving it 5 stars.

No weight measurements
Derived From Web , Feb 28, 2022
I wouldn't have thought of many different recipes in this book. I am disappointed that there are no weight measurements. The easiest way to make bread is by weighing the ingredients.

Just what I was looking for!
Derived From Web , Feb 26, 2022
I was hoping to find some recipes that would convince me that bread maker baking is worth it, because the recipes that came with my bread maker are quite lack-luster. This book is wonderful. The oatmeal bread I made was lovely. It turned out to be very tender and fluffy. Excited to try out more of the recipes. I discovered this book and I love it!

well indexed - good recipes
Derived From Web , Nov 24, 2021
I am happy I bought this book. One of the best features is a well done index by the bookmaker. There is a separate index for each subject. Useful. The bread recipes are creative and worth a try. Information on how to adjust your recipe for more desirable outcomes is useful. I would recommend it to anyone with a bread maker.

Hits and Misses
Derived From Web , Oct 6, 2021
I thought this would be a great book to read. I'm not disappointed I tried it out, but I'm annoyed that there are so many areas of poor and lazy editing such as simply putting 18 cup instead of converting it to tablespoons like most cookbooks. The oatmeal bread is one of the really good recipes. The molasses wheat bread promises to be a crowd pleaser. Nope. I would keep searching for a better bread machine book.

Danger! Beware of Rosemary Bread!
Derived From Web , Jan 24, 2021
I have been using this book for a long time. The Rosemary bread was exactly what I wrote it would be. The recipe uses too much water. I spent hours cleaning my machine after the goopy mess went over the top. I had to deal with the amount of smoke in the kitchen. I hope my new bread machine works when I use it. I think the 1.5 pound and 1 pound recipes might be correct. I wish I hadn't tried this recipe. What a message!

A Bit Dated
Derived From Web , Dec 7, 2020
I've made several of the breads in the book and all but one have turned out delicious. Updating the weights of ingredients would be helpful. A cup can mean many things and a specific weight can mean different things to different people. No matter what size machine you have, you can use this book because each recipe provides three different sizes of bread. If you're looking for a book with a lot of variations of bread, this is a good one. If the writer decided to improve it, she could give the ingredient weights.
