Love all of the pout pout fish books
Derived From Web , May 23, 2022
Love all pout fish books. They are so fun to read and kids love them. Thus, one focuses on the thought of a gift that matters more than buying something.

Great book series for babies and up

This is fun for the holidays, but I think the first pout fish is the best by far. If you haven 't already, check out a copy.

I was disappointed that this was not a stiff board book, but a paper book and the story is lacking in both message and content, but the graphics are always visually appealing and make the tater tots smile.

Love Pout-Pout Fish board books!
Derived From Web , Jan 2, 2022
My great niece loves the pout-Pout fish, so I bought this book for her for Christmas and she loves it almost as much as the original. Board books are perfect for children who are a little rough with books.

Cute, wordy book
Derived From Web , Dec 17, 2021
I was not a fan of this book at first, but reading it a few times made it grow on me. Baby likes this one, but comes a bit more impatient with the wordiness than with other, less wordy options like Little Blue Truck books. This one is acceptable, but is just cute in the whole.

Love this story! Immediately bought one after receiving to gift.
Derived From Web , Dec 7, 2021
When you read children's books every night, most of them good, you start to invest in the terrible ones. The original pout 't fish is a favorite in our house and this Christmas version is adding to this top list. It has a good story line, it's fun and easy to read and has a great flow, just like the original. We loved it so much, my husband and I are currently arguing about which one we love more! Someone gave this to our daughter for her first birthday and after reading it jumped on here to order one for my nephew for Christmas! That is how much we loved it! Hello! ''

Pass on this one
Derived From Web , Dec 6, 2020
My daughter and I loved the original Pout Pout Fish book, but this was a huge letdown. It has a very materialistic message that is repeated over and over again. The story turns somewhat to say that gifts are best given from the heart, but it feels almost like an afterthought.

Terrible book
Derived From Web , Dec 27, 2019
The repetitive rhyming strophes that replace the I'm a pout pout fish with a pout pout face are not only difficult to read rhythmically, but they repeat and drive home that a gift should be big and grand and glitzy, which is not a point I want my four year old to focus on. I read it and he told me that he did not like the book and was left to play.

Fun Story, Like Any Sequel It's Not As Good As The Original
Derived From Web , Jul 3, 2019
It is a good read, the same style and illustrations as the original, just not quite as curly as the original was. I was expecting something a little more memorable, but perhaps I've read the original Pout-Pout fish so many times that it is committed to memory and its successors can 't live up to it.
