   Perfect devotions for kids
Great book to read with my 4 and 2 year old every night. Each book has its own story that is easy to understand for children, and then a Bible verse is connected to the story with a short prayer.
This book is about the sweetest toddler devotional ever. I find the reviews that say it all works based on confusing. Many of the devotions are how wonderful God is and how you can enjoy his presence in so many ways. Christianity is not based on your works.... however, it should motivate you to participate in Godly works.
Great for devotional time with my 3 year old
I read these devotionals daily with my three-year-old little boy. He is currently very interested in learning about Jesus and reading Bible stories, so I want to facilitate this as much as possible! ) We do our pocket calendar time, sing our days of the year song, and then sing our devotional. These devotions are short and sweet, and the perfect length for the young child. Each story ends with a Bible verse and a prayer. The book uses the same handful of children throughout the book, which is a positive attribute for preschoolers, I think. They are able to read characters as they become familiar with each story as they read them. Overall, I recommend this devotional strongly.
   Best devotion for toddlers
My son can 't go to bed now without Mama or Daddy reading it with him. A lot of young devotions are big and a 3 year old does not have a long attention span! These practical devotions are short and to the point, but also teach short daily life lessons. I love that every day has a Bible verse to go with the devotion and also a prayer.
They are quick and easy so it actually gets done
My children and I read these daily during breakfast. They are fast and easy, so that it actually gets done. They are good stories and cute applications. If I forget, my children remind me of them, so I know that they also like me!
   A great devotional for preschoolers!
I bought this for my 4 year old to read before bedtime. This quickly became an anticipated part of bedtime, and his favorite are the little prayers by far. The length of these devos are perfect, and the small questions in the stories sometimes cause discussions about how this lesson can be applied to his daily life. A wonderful purchase! A wonderful purchase! '' Everyone who has read this to him comments about what a great book this is and what great little lessons it has. So glad I bought this book! '' I'm so glad I purchased it!
Daughter does not want to put it down!
My 3 year old daughter is absolutely in love with this book! She does not want to put it down! She does not want to put it down! She wants to keep reading every page just because she wants to keep reading every page! I am very happy with it as well, I am very happy with it. The illustrations are very simple and the writing is very cute and on point with a scripture verse and a little prayer for each day. I definitely recommend this for a toddler-preschool age devotional! I definitely recommend this for a devotional toddlerpreschool!
We don't read it every day like it is intended but we use it often and ...
Finally, I found an age appropriate book for my 3 year old! After trying several other popular kid devos, this fits the bill! It is short, uses simple wording and applies the concept to real life stories that my three-year-old can understand. We don 't read it like it is intended, but we often use it and love it.
   Fairly traditional, outdated message
Some of the messages are a little too personal, which I realize is a very traditional and outdated, but prayer and devotional are very personal, so I recommend reading through a few of the prayers and messages before purchasing. Some examples are that God is always watching, so that you should always do the right thing, as well as other more authoritarian views on things. There have been enough messages in the book that are not what we want to convey to our children, so we will look for an alternative devotional. I wish it were more applicable to children, i.e. Sharing, taking turns, doing kind things for others, how to deal with emotions, etc. from a Christian perspective, but a lot of it is over their heads.
My 3 Year Olds Love It
Each day is short, relatable stories with a verse and a rhyming prayer. My twins love it. As for the negative reviews about doctrine, we like it just fine. We are very picky about what our children hear about the Lord, but if you don 't agree with every single message, just read it aloud as you change it. It is not hard to teach, and it is not like the book is doing anything heretical. Everyone sees things differently, and you can change the wording if necessary. This is a great little devo!
