One of the great gifts of the yogic path is that it returns us to a life of simplicity, even as we go about our lives in a world of growing complexity. Through practice, we ultimately find the freedom to be who we really are, and allow others do the same.
This was Pata jali's original intention when he penned his legendary sutras. But when a text is over 2,000 years old, important things can get lost in translation. For today's yoga student looking to take their practice off the mat and into the world, Nicolai Bachman presents The Path of the Yoga Sutras.By organizing the sutras into 51 core concepts that support the Western student in germinating and blossoming these potent seed teachings, Bachman has created a breakthrough tool for integrating yoga philosophy and practice, whatever your level of experience. It takes about 4 Hours and 58 minutes on average for a reader to read The Path of the Yoga Sutras: A Practical Guide to the Core of Yoga. This is based on the average reading speed of 250 Words per minute.
The Path of the Yoga Sutras: A Practical Guide to the Core of Yoga is 296 pages long.
Amazing Book for this Practicing Yogi
Derived From Web , Apr 29, 2022
I am so grateful to have found this book and am truly enjoying the practice of yoga. It has taken my personal practice to a whole new level of commitment, understanding and has given me guidance on meditation and how to live my life to be more fulfilling, he said. I truly enjoyed reading this book, and appreciate how practical it is to apply the sutras in our highly materialistic culture, Raymond said. I was able to reach new bounds in healing through meditation, and experienced contentment in my abilities with the asana practice and applied that in other aspects of my life, he said. I'm going to be re-reading this book in the near future. Thanks to Nicolai Bachman for projecting Patanjali's work in a practical guide that is an enjoyable read!

Reading the second time gave me a better understanding of what the book is about
Derived From Web , Apr 29, 2022
Before I became a yoga teacher, I read The Yoga Sutras by Dr. Goin. The second time I read it, I found myself more fully understanding of the plot. I found the exercise to be very useful, even though I was not reading the entire book. I was surprised by how different my answers were the second time I read the book. When you think about your life choices, it makes you think about your life and the choices you make at a deeper level. It's a book that I will read over and over and believe each time I read it my answers will be different, Graham said. The book is for anyone who wants to know themselves on a deeper level and is not afraid of what may find out about them.

Beautiful and straightforward guide to understanding the sutras
Derived From Web , Apr 29, 2022
This book is a wonderful book to guide you through the sutras in a completely different way. I like the way he provides repetition of the meaning of the words throughout the text, because it takes time to fully incorporate them. Bachman's book The Language of Yoga was one of my all-time favorite yoga books.

its okey dokey
Derived From Web , Sep 17, 2018
This book is a nice little bed side read, and explains that furthers the sutras. the thing that with me most is on page 81.. the universe has a way of listening to our thoughts and moving us in that direction. there have been many incidences where i spontaneously SPOKE intentions that were compassionate and uplifting and minutes later the intention was actually realized. This book is a must read for those who are interested in learning and growing in their practice. It's great to be back home, said Blair.

Great Book
Derived From Web , Nov 6, 2017
It was my favorite from the books we had to take on our 200 hour yoga certification. Even after I got my certification, I still go back and re-read parts of the book to apply them in my classes. I love all these concepts and they are surely applicable to our daily lives, Morgenthau said. I would recommend this book to anyone.

Thank you for this wonderful easy to understand explanation.

The book is a great read. Fits nicely into my personal growth and exploration, Morgenthau said. I cannot physically do yoga because of an injury but as Patanjali teaches it is so much more than just standing on the mat!
