   Great Nutrition Book
I like the nutrition information in this book. This is a good place to get advice about food sources. One can apply this information to their diet immediately. It was a great read.

   I'm a Hyman fan but this is large print mediocre fluff
I have purchased both Food and Dr. Hyman's book, What the heck should I eat? The Pegan Diet is related. The food book is well thought out and detailed. The Pegan diet is large print and has many generalities. I didn't need the recipees at the end. This could be good for you if you're looking for a Reader's Digest version of his other books. If you want to learn more about something, then you should save your money and buy food. instead.

   Another book with no pictures and printed on low quality paper...
When I bought this book, I didn't know that there would be no recipe photos and the book was printed on cheap paper. I have decided not to buy new books that don't have pictures for the recipes and are printed on poor quality paper because it will go yellow after a couple of years. I am willing to pay a little more for a book that is not just a good read but also nice to look at. Robert's Wife.

It's easy to read and understand. I heard him on a show and bought it. How much food can affect our health is being overstated.

   If this is your 1st intro to Dr Hyman, it’s a great book but....no new content
I have a few other books by Dr. Hyman and I have been a fan of him for a while. His other books are similar to this one. In this book he has 21 guiding principles for what you should or shouldn't do, instead of dividing his principles by types of food that you should or shouldn't eat. It is a good purchase if you are new to the book. This isn't the book for you if you're looking for new content. I skimmed it in 15 minutes and had seen it before. I like his other books more.

   Dr Hyman once again proves he is an advocate for YOUR health
I have followed Dr. Hyman for many years. I value his advice and know it is well researched. I share many of his books with friends and family because he sets you on a better path to health. He is passionate about improving the food industry and encourages you to do what works for you. Some of the recipes are not accessible for the average person. Some ingredients are hard to get around. The information he provides in an easy to understand format is beyond valuable for anyone.
