Leans toward a socialist perspective on accumulating money
The story line was clear and the message of sharing was strong. It is a little too socialist for me seriously ; I don 't want to teach my children to drop their pennies into a pot so that my children can have what they want.

   Great for all ages
My elementary students love this book. This boom could be set for another level, but kindergarten students understand it fine. I had a money - counting activity that followed reading the reading.

   Great Book
The book was a great read. I love the concept of teaching children how to count coins and identify them. I love the colors used to illustrate the pictures. I also like that the author mentioned additional books with similar concepts to read and the glossary at the end.
