I loved this book as a child!!

I saw this in stores and regretted not buying it. They had it in stock, so I bought it on Amazon. I used to read this book all the time when I was a child, so I would buy it while I could so I could read to my little ones when that time comes for me.

I purchased this book for my nephew's birthday and despite some purchaser's concerns about the pages sticking out further than the cover boards, I'm very pleased with the book. It was a story I enjoyed as a child and I hope the next generation of my family will enjoy it as well. I don't think the pages are an issue because they stick out far enough.

Great bedtime reading

These were bought in a package of 12 or 14. She got the number of books because there were a couple of missing titles. Since she has 2 year old twins, the extra titles went to them so they could play with them. It worked out well in my situation, but I've returned them before. One child alone would probably be disappointed, but I was able to work out for them. My 5 year old is reading at a high level with little help from her dad.

Have you read those books when the kids are young? In the 90s, I read this to my nephew so many times that I could not remember the last time I read it. For a long time, I lost track of it. I wanted to help my child get the Poky Puppy, but my lanta told me there were tons and tons of Poky Puppy books out there. I couldn't figure out which book was the one I had memorised, I posted in a Mom group on Facebook all the words I knew by heart, but I didn't know it. In the post, I asked people to find me the title. Someone was able to link me to the book on Amazon. I have been reading the same book over and over for 23 years. It's not a song that never ends. It's a book.

My 11 month old LOVES this book

I bought this because my son absolutely loved it. He loves this book even more. I highly recommend it. The art is done well. There is a high contrast with the colors. Simple sentences that teach about animals. The last page shows all the animals together, which is good for remembering the names of the animals we met along the way.

Classic Children's books

I'm writing it off of my husband's account. I received the book in the mail today. My husband and I both grew up with a lot of these books. One of the first things we wanted for our son was a good book collection. He's only 11 months old and loves reading. The books are well priced and perfect. Although this is the first book from this company, we will definitely be back for the rest. They are classics to us. Our son will love them as much as we do. It's a wonderful classic! My toddler loves to sit and read. A sweet little story about a puppy who just takes longer to leave and return from home each day, but makes out better than his siblings, until he's outsmarted in the end! The sweet story will be a classic for a long time. The purchase was worth it.
