Simplified Principles, No Actionable Ideas
Derived From Web , Jun 20, 2019
From the get-go, the book was full of great, albeit rather simple, principles regarding team-building. However, there are many stories of teams supposedly putting these things in place without any real guidance on how to make it happen on your own team. But if you're looking for something with actionable steps to help strengthen your team and make it positive, you won't find that in this book.

A sweet, inoffensive confection of a leadership book
Derived From Web , Aug 10, 2018
Lots of pithy nuggets to make their way into your conversation, lots of stories of successful sports teams and prominent business leaders, and so on. Both books are very readable and accessible to a broad audience of teachers, managers and students. And, even though I'm not a management major, I was looking for more depth than either book provides. Gordon writes well, and I would have no problem with him providing that type of content, Hachette said. I hope he decides to go forward with it. 0 4171578 The Harrisons said: "I hope he chooses to go forward with it."
