My 7 year old daughter was super jazzed for this book to come out and we were not disappointed! This is the first time she has reached the reading level on her own. She opened the book right when she got home from school and read the whole cover to the family. We are shameless Shannon and Dean Hale fans in our family, and it's because they do such a great job with every book they write, she said. Her daughter, who is 5, will never tire of LeUyen Pham's illustrations. The books are well-crafted, each one written with great care. I've read them to my first and second grade students. We do a unit on super heroes, and kids regardless of gender get so engaged in the fun of the super heroes in these books, Sosa said. Thanks for such a great series!!!!!!!!!!!!!
