   This book is awesome!
I absolutely love this book. If you are a major or just interested in human behavior, this book is for you. The book is so easy to read, pictures and diagrams are all there to help. The book includes the history of concepts, as well as current findings and thinking on the subject. What I love most about this book is how it breaks down the philosophical roots, behaviorism, psychotherapy, cognitive psych, social psych, and psych of difference into manageable chunks. Thanks for the book. One of the concepts is that "a man with conviction is a man to change." Learn about cognitive dissonance and why it is so hard to change someone's opinion and thought processes when they really believe in it. You won't be disappointed with the amount of information, the ease of reading and the layout of the book.

The book and the others in the series are great overviews of their topic. The key people, the key dates and the key ideas are what's needed most from Microsoft. Great resource to see timelines and evolution.

I took a psychology class in college, but I don't remember much about it. This was a high school reading level in concepts and I was not aware of many of the concepts in my one and only college class.

Not accurate for an AP psych class. Thought it would be more illustrated to help my lower students, but it's still text heavy and there are areas that aren't consistent with current standards.

   Great for coffee tables and easy to read
It was a present from my boyfriend for Valentine's Day last year. It's very understandable and interesting, and I've read it too. I've read many good books, but this is much more engaging if you want an overview of basic psychology concepts.

We got him all the books from this line - Sociology, psychology, economics, and philosophy. They are great and easy to follow with lots of graphs and pictures, said Dr. Julie Gerberding of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. My son is a freshman at a Catholic high school and has no problem following the rules, his mom said. Great for reference, too.

   Very large books but I LOVE this style
Very large books, but I love this style of writing. The pictures are from the diary of the writer.
