If you are wondering if this will be another one of those books that will collect dust on your shelf, I can only promise the opposite. I see this as something I will keep and draw from for a long time. The words of Tozer are exactly what I needed in my desire to grow closer to God.

Great book, poor print quality

Ok, this is an amazing book that I would have loved ten times more if it had not been poor in print quality or even more precise, the lettering was so lightdull that it exhausted my eyes after only a few pages. I would have paid several dollars more for a better print. The paper quality would have supported a darker ink without an issue.

Tozer is one of those Christian writers who brings you face to face with your own necessity of God. It's amazing. His language is a little classical, so that it requires some thought to appreciate the depth of the meaning.

If you haven 't read A.W. You are missing Tozer. Pursuit of God is a pastoral text for some required classes. His books are laden with scriptures and challenges.

So great to hear so much of your heart spoken for God by another person. The Pursuit of God is powerful. Anyone with a burning heart for the presence, voice and will of God, who yearns for deeper intimacy with Him, would recommend this book. Haven 't read the other two et, but this has become one of my favorite authors immediately.

Haven 't read the whole book because I have done some many Bible studies plus reading and studying God's word takes a few hours then adding this book. I read about half the book, I have to say that it is a very good book. A.W. Tozer was a preacher of God. He was so called, he was like those men in the Bible that Jesus dictated what we all need to be more like. Jesus was driven. I'm so family-oriented that my heart hurts for his wife and children, but I have to say that if I had a husband who lived away from home or working from home, I DEFINITELY WOULD HAVE HIM DOING IT FOR THE LORD, NOT FOR THE DRIVE FOR MORE MONEY OR HIGHER POSITION. I look forward to finishing this book, seeing how his life turned out and seeing all he did for our Lord. I don 't think it hurts to have great books in your library.
