So good
Derived From Web , Oct 13, 2020
The only complaint I have is that they are a much easier and faster read than Sanderson's other book series, so that they were over too quickly.

Sanderson does it again!
Derived From Web , Jul 14, 2020
I loved the misogy series, so I decided I would give this a read and was not disappointed. Can get a little bit silly at times, but overall a fun read. Once I got done with the first book, I blazed through it.

Heroes gone bad!
Derived From Web , May 8, 2020
This series is absolutely amazing! It follows the story of David, a guy who lives in a world where the superheroes are actually villains. After collecting information for 10 years, he finally gets the chance to join the Reckoners! They are a group of people who want to kill the epics. David has the biggest adventures he could ever dream of with an insane amount of luck. There are twists and turns and secrets! The whole time you 'll be on the edge of your seat!

Super human powers with a twist!
Derived From Web , Apr 19, 2020
A co-worker proposed to me this series. The first novel was pretty intriguing, so I decided to buy the set. I was just surprised to notice several grammatical errors, misprintings, repetitive lines, etc. It seems like this project was edited professionally and not rushed. However, I think the series was a fun read and a pretty good twist on the typical humans vs. mutant-themed narrative.

Xmen reimagined in a new way
Derived From Web , Oct 25, 2018
There is no getting around it. There are some interesting differences, but ultimately it comes down to people having super powers and everyone is evil and a group of ordinary people's struggle to redeem humanity.

Typical Sanderson
Derived From Web , Jul 11, 2018
Every work of Brandon Sanderson is a masterpiece. That said, this is not his best work, nor is it his worst. Like all his books, this was full of twists and surprises, engaging banter and clever action. I couldn t put it down and enjoyed every minute, even though it didn 't have the same magical polish as Mistborn or Stormlight Archives. Note also that this set is missing his novella Mitosis, which occurs between the first and second book. I recommend reading this as well as reading it where it belongs, however, that novella is not vital to the story nor is it quite as good as the rest of this series. But without it, the beginning of the second book will not feel quite as smooth.

My kids love these books
Derived From Web , May 17, 2018
My children love these books! My children are age 21-28. One of them said that he could not read them because he loved them so much! Now Bernie Sanderson's other series keeps their attention. They say that they are even better than this series. We ended up giving them to nieces, nephews, and friends who are younger, and the response was the same, excellent! What a bargain! ''
