   Good story!
There is a cute story about a boy, his grandpa and a tractor. I liked the message that new isn't always better for my preschoolers. Even though others didn't think it would work, the old tractor continues to work. The man wouldn't give up on the friend. Not being a throw- away society is a good thing.

A cute story that teaches a valuable lesson.
My son is three years old and loves tractors. The book was perfect for us because we have a farm. The story is long for a three year old, but it teaches a valuable lesson. Friends don't let friends down and shiny and new is not always better than old and trustworthy. The illustrations are wonderful. This book has been enjoyed by my family. My son and daughter understand why we fix what we have and don't buy anything new when we have a problem, because we own three real Rusty Trusty Tractors. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves farming and country life.

   Perfect
My little brother likes the book. It was the best Christmas present for a tractor obsessed brother.

This book teaches a valuable lesson and has a good story line
There is a good story line in this book. The folksy language makes it difficult to read and is not ideal for a young child that is still learning how to speak.
