A Beautiful Story both in text and art
Derived From Web , Nov 14, 2021
It is finding love in ways that no one would suspect, especially with a scarecrow and a baby crow. The simple rhymes weave a story of two beautiful characters who don 't hesitate to become friends from the beginning and the Fan Brothers'unusual art show just how endearing this story is. My grandson love this book! The pictures bring this poignant story to life and no matter their age, they all understood this story shows how friendship can change anyone's life.

Beautiful and heartfelt to teach about friendship and not be judgemental
Derived From Web , Nov 11, 2021
The book is very beautifully written and heartfelt and I got choked reading it. But it has much deeper meanings than just the name. The story talks about how all animals avoid entering the field because of the scarecrow and the scarecrow has no friend until he rescues the little crow and builds a friendship with the crow. I also use it to teach my 3.5-year-old son about feelings and he loves the book.

Beautiful book for children of all ages, 2-102!
Derived From Web , Nov 21, 2020
Beautiful story line and simply breathtaking illustrations. He has it memorized and likes looking at the pictures and trying to find things he has not yet seen. I read it the first time I cried, now that we are probably the 100th time I am okay with it. Much of my emotion came from the illustrations, which I will repeat are just amazing. Honestly, I highly recommend this for people of all ages.

Touched my heart! An instant fave!
Derived From Web , Nov 14, 2020
It arrived today and as I removed it from the box to place it on the table for reading later, my 2-year-old insisted that we read it right away. The story itself makes for the most touching children's book I ever read, and I am so happy that my son enjoys it because teaching him kindness and compassion is at the top of my list for raising a good human. Absolutely '' recommend.

Pure Magic!
Derived From Web , Jun 19, 2020
Oh, this book is beautiful! When I first heard that it was going to be released, I could hardly wait. I knew that pairing Beth Ferry's lyrics with The Fan Brothers'Art would be magic. It was like I waited a long time to get my hands on a copy, but when I did... Oh, this book-magic indeed! This is a story of longing, kindness, loyalty, sorrow and joy. Beth Ferry's lyrical rhyme is lulling and delightful and the signature art of the Fan Brothers is delightful and dreamy. If you read this book, I’m sure you end up with a sigh, give it a big hug and then read it again and again, just as I did.

An unforgettable book about kindness and friendship
Derived From Web , Dec 1, 2019
The autumn may be fading away, but please don 't let it go before sharing Scarecrow with everyone in your family. The soft autumn colors and even the tiniest details add so much to the story. I loved the gentleness of the snow, the quietness of the spring night and the joy on the face of the scarecrow as he makes a friend. And then there is Beth Ferry's lyrical text that tells the story of the lonely, but respected Scarecrow. Scarecrow, who cheers the baby as he learns to fly, knows that his friend will soon be gone. Scarecrow, whose kindness leads so much joy. This memorable book about friendship and kindness is one of my favorite favorites of 2019. I am sure that you will also love it!
