   An Immersion of the Soul
The author draws you in slowly and with great precision. I have never read a novel where the characters are real. It looks like the author is painting a masterpiece from the impressionist period. On paper, the author exclaimed what every man feels. No other man has felt or shared what a man believes. The author made human emotions between good and evil, light, and darkness, shallowness, and depravity. The premise that to suffer, is good has been underscored by the author. He is correct. If there was no Winter, would Spring be so great? This is a novel of the 19 th century and the author gives his characters amazing guile. This book is very easy to read, compared to the fright I had when I started it.

   Great book, very nice edition
This is a classic novel. The beginning is not bright. It's not easy to read, but it is worth it. The hardcover Everyman's Library edition is tight with a ribbon and very nice. It's not too big. Not large. I like hardcovers and Everyman's Library editions.

More of a "middle to lower middle class" perspective or Russian life in the days of the Czars.
My least favorite Russian writer is Pasternak. This style of writing is darker and gloomier than the other three, but it is still great insight into Russian culture from a lower class perspective.

I found out this book was something I actually enjoyed and would definitely read again
This book exceeded my expectations and I have to admit. I had to pick this book up for class because it wouldn't have been interesting to me. I found this book enjoyable and would definitely read it again. The story starts to pick up in a rapid pace after the beginning is slow. The reader is forced to reexamine their motives and thoughts. The book gives a good insight into how people's minds operate under extreme stress and the consequences of their actions. Everyone should be able to read this book in the future because it is a classic.

This is NYET the actual book!! DO NOT BUY
Is it Wat? The book has no page numbers and there are probably less than 100 pages. There is no publisher listed on the cover. It is a crime to make this a complete book for sale on Amazon. It was incredible!

It is bunch of a few pages and not a book!
This is not Crime and Punishment of Fyodor Dostoyevsky, it is a bunch of a few pages which ends abruptly in the middle of a sentence. A quarter of the book is possible. How is it possible?

   Arrived Damaged
The cover was gorgeous but it was damaged. The replacement should be in good condition. It should not be torn, bent or ripped for this price.

This is not the whole book and it replaces words with the number 3
Is this really happening? A bunch of words are replaced. Is it seriously? The book is half the length of the original. It is total crap. Not worth 99 cents. Total rip off. Don't buy this version of the book.

   A great book
This book is in the top 100 novels. I love classical Russian literature. Insights into the human condition can be found. The mind of a human. There is wealth and poverty. There are power and weakness. It's good stuff. The book came as described by the book seller.

   Amazing 🤩
I loved it in so many ways, it was beyond and more than I could have expected. I bought this one because my friend told me that it was better than everything else I had read. And that is.
