   Great set of books for younger reader reading at an advanced level
Sometimes I run into a problem with my advanced reader. She reads above level, so books designed for her age don't provide a challenge. It's difficult to find books that aren't too mature for her age. The material is acceptable to me and this set challenges her. Win.

The books are called The School for Good and Evil. My children couldn't put down the books. They finished each book in a day to a week. My daughter doesn't like to read but she can read the whole series. If your child loves fantasy with a twist, I recommend the entire series.

   If you like a well-written book you can PASS on this one
Great reviews on NPR for this series. While reading this, I felt like I was 12 years old again. Characters are nowhere to save the daysurprise attack. There are too many characters names with no character development. I wrote a list of good and bad characters so I could keep an eye on them. It seems like the editor may have been drunk for their part, and a few places the sentences didn't make sense.
