Top notch detective youth sleuths!

Hardy boys are generally the most wholesome action packed detective stories, even if for a younger audience. This story has their buddy Chet Morton revealing clues with a metal detector! Here Frank and Joe help their father, the great detective Fenton Hardy, by taking on another missing person case.

I bought this book for my son, who had a book report due on a mystery novel. We found numerous spelling problems, including double letters in words. This was not a continuous error, it was just one throughout the book!

Hardy Boys are classic

Ok, maybe that's a high order, but I enjoy them quite a bit. This book has them caught in a maze of intersecting mysteries that slowly reveal their connections over time. Also in the series, Chet and Biff Hooper feature heavily, and Aunt Gertrude is beginning to take on a larger role in the series. Still haven 't finished it, but I enjoy every bit of it.

My 10 year old daughter loves the Hardy boys and I did too when I was young. These are new hardcover books in which she gets lost. I'm going to break the whole set buying her the whole set.
