One of those books that the kids love, and I love reading! So sweet and funny and very relatable as a mom with multiple kids.

Love it!

Great book, actually my second copy, for gifting to a friend's daughter because I don't plan on parting with my childhood copy! It's one of those stories that flows so well and can keep even a ten-year-old intrigued, while still being enough for a three-year-old to follow.

My daughters' favorite night time story!
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
The rhyming rhythm, unique vocabulary and the story will speak to stressed-out Moms and Dads the world over. The work is so rich, and there's a story with just the art alone, he said. The customer service was excellent, highly recommended.

Not a great message
Derived From Web , Feb 3, 2022
Second, I want to say that the book came in great condition. What I find most disturbing is the message this book sends to my kids. The book is the story of a mom who becomes bitter and angry about her picky eaters. I should have read the reviews a little better before buying it, Mr. Dhaliwal said. It ended up being a pretty negative experience, too. I still love the stereo the typical tired and angry mother. It also shows her overbending backward to make separate meals for each kiddo, eventually resenting them.

Tired mom and fussy children
Derived From Web , Jun 27, 2020
At first I thought this was cute because each person had only one food item. In her first book, "A Whole New World," Jennette Tamayo tells the story of a single mom with seven children. My daughter has asked me not to read it to her daughter again.

Funny book

Even though many of the children are not biological, they can understand mother's tough job. This mother doesn't have microwave but all the children want to have their own menu- made from scratch. My daughter absolutely loves the story. There are some points to think about, Bruno said.

LOVE this book
Derived From Web , Jun 10, 2019
I purchased this book because it was my absolute favorite as a kid. Like the kids in this book, I was raised with seven brothers and sisters and a very busy mom who rarely got appreciation for all of her dedication and love. The book came in perfect condition, just as I remembered it in my 2nd grade. I read the story to my students and they absolutely adored it. Thanks for the support!

Fun to read with perfect illustrations
Derived From Web , Mar 3, 2019
We have already read about it in many places. I like the positive image of a family growing together, as they all learn, mom included, how to work together, he said. The illustration of mom's birthday party was so sweet, right to the macaroni necklace, nosegay, and clumsily wrapped gifts, she said.

Favorite bedtime story
Derived From Web , Feb 9, 2019
This was and still is my all time favorite book I would read to my grandchildren. It's just that his grandson is still a silly eater. That last part is just too good to hear, said the 14-year-old, who also enjoys the silly rhyme of the story. The line will come next, they will tell me the line that comes next. My favorite part of the book is the illustrations by Robert Hein. There is just too much detail in the background to be ignored, the cherubic faces of the children. Even the tiniest detail of the design tells a story. It's going to become your favorite bedtime story.
