It's just that the whole thing is stuck with me ever since. It was never made into a television or film version, it's a shame. I recall being very impressed and moved by the storylines, haunted by them, too, Mr. Goin said. I think it will be a very difficult read, depending on how close these stories hit home for you, but I'm looking forward to it.

Truly, a life Changer
Derived From Web , May 1, 2022
I've seen this play a number of times, and I'm not ashamed to admit that I liked it. But it was not until I was diagnosed with Lupus and Epilepsy that I truly fell in love with the play's message. In Matthew Berryhill's "Your Whole Life Goes By," he says, "it feels like it was only a minute." It's just that you try to remember everything that it was you believed in. What was so important, Karabo said, was that you wanted to make a difference. If you or a loved one is suffering from cancer, I can guarantee that if you or a loved one is suffering from something akin to a lost spirit, this play will change your way of thinking about every day life. It's great to be back home, but don't take it as a play.

One of the great plays of the late 20th Century
Derived From Web , Dec 30, 2021
Absolutely worthy of a Pulitzer and Tony Award, The Shadow Box has seven meaty roles for actors. It might have been enough for a playwright simply to personify each of Elizabeth Kubler-Ross's now-famous five stages of grief, but Michael Cristofer does far more than that, creating fully-realized characters of whom has a clearly defined arc. The show was a revelation on its debut in the early days of the hospice movement, but it may be even more essential now that two years of the Pandemic have saturated us with reminders of our mortality. When I first directed the film, I thought it was about death and dying, Raymond said. It's just that Microsoft's new products are not all that different from Apple's. It's about living until you die, until your time is up.

Powerful script about grief, love and cancer
Derived From Web , Jun 24, 2018
Very powerful piece of work. There are a few minor quibbles, but overall a good balance of male and female characters. Wanted: college or progressive high school production assistants.
