   The Spirit of INtimacy
The book is excellent, very informative and gives credence to a lot of African traditions, very different from the primitive '' understanding of Western imperialists, which made us believe in African ways.

A Must for Spiritual Afro Loving Types
Let me tell you this way : a friend told me that she found it in Susan Taylor's library. Nuff said :

I just finished this read and wow, I am ...
I finished reading this book just and wow, I am blown away. I feel as if I see relationships with everyone around me in different eyes and have a clearer method of dealing with my own inner-self. This book is not at all how I expected it to be a well organized method for discovering intimacy with step-by-step instructions. Instead, it is provoking and leads you to question yourself. Thank you, Some! After being introduced to her through this book, I will purchase all her readings.

One of the best books I have read
Highly recommended this book to understand true intimacy beyond sex. It talks about community and the sacred energy of making sacred bonds with family and your chosen mate.

Connectedness is critical to our being human
An absolute gem from my view... to be read with an open mind for those of us who have been raised in the West. For me, this Dagara world sense doesvetails with my current readings of explanations for the effects of childhood trauma and lack of connectedness. Thank you Sistah Sobonfu, who now walks with the ancestors.

Informative but not inclusive enough in my opinion.
Definitely a great deterrent from the oppressive white Western Christian ideology regarding relationships. But are we Black-Black Rooted LGBTQ+ folks only able to be gatekeepers? How do we fit besides as gatekeepers into the ancestral religions? Why can 't we express love and intimacy as well? Why can 't we have a marriage? Why are we limited ''. I set aside all this knowledge and wisdom for the author. She rests in power May she!

   Such a good read!
I have never read a book like this, it was recommended by a friend who keeps an old bc copy in her purse, bc it is her bible. I can not describe my feelings except to say that it resonated with me on so many levels.

Read this. Sheds new angles on existing perspectives.
This is a must read book. Relationships are for the community, not individuals. ... and stop prioritizing romance... that is not it. I gave this book to my close friend to help her journey...I rarely give things away.

   The Beginning Journey
This book is large, but packed with knowledge that requires an open heart to receive. It began my openness to others and the world in terms of relationships from a different lens. It is a soul binding and the book leads even if briefly discussed at times, but it is everything about life and love with the spirit leading to your relationship with Spirit. Once one recognizes this, everything else flourishes.
