Book Overview

A street thriller of kidnapping, murder, trickery, and love that will have you at the edge of your seat.

After 7 years of prison, multi-millionaire drug mogul Kane Garrett is back on the streets. But instead of diving back into the drug game, he's teaching a college class, infusing business principles with his signature ruthless edge he developed in the streets. When a student--and heavy heroin dealer--named Basil catches Kane's eye, Kane takes him on as a prot g and together, they build the biggest, smartest drug trafficking business the state has ever seen.

But when Basil meets Moriah, Kane's only daughter, lines get crossed and their dominant business union becomes a deadly rivalry. Welcome to a world where the kings meet their end and no one stays at the top for long. The crown always lies heavy on he who commands the streets--and Kane and Basil will fight to claim their rule, before power is toppled again, in The Streets Have No King by New York Times bestselling author JaQuavis Coleman.

The real has no king it built you then kill tou
Living the street lives might make your material desires come true, but remember that the street isn't yours the streets own you and when the tiles come it will take what belongs to him. Sorry the daughter died but those African hogs were terrifying, Mrs Clinton said. The streets give and the streets take, Tunick said.

   OMG!!
This book had me on edge of my seat at work. It's two things that I still need to be revealed, what were Kane's last words and what did Frenchie do to him in the past, Sosa said. Best read ever. nan

   Great read
It was very exciting from the beginning to the end, said Blair. Leaving me wanting more. It didn't end how I thought it would but I liked the ending.

   Twist
I've read the book and I'm not averse to the story. The book had me from the Prologue to the last page, Raymond said. I couldn't put the book down. Definitely recommend.

   Wtf!!! So GOOD!
Hood to the last word. I'm not complaining, this is fast paced, and definitely bout that action. There were some parts of the book that made me love it more.

   Don't waste your money
It's just that terrible book. The N-word is used more than once in this book. In one passage, the writer laments, "There are some who would rather talk about sex acts than about fallacious details of oral sex." Unsure what to expect, I schimed through this book as quick as I could and still got sick to my stomach. The fact is, this writer is very unintelligent. Who would have thought that such garbage would be published? Patterson says he won't budge on the issue of teacher pay. Connelly and Richardson were married in August 2001 in Galveston, Texas. You don't find filth like this in your books!

   Great title, true life lesson
His book was titled, "A Lesson in Crime and Street Life." The writer and illustrator did an excellent job with the pace of the story, the vivid illustrations and most of all dropping gems of street wisdom. I enjoyed reading it, said Robert C. D. O'Neill, "and a great read." It's just that they call it "consulting."

   Underestimated
The book is amazing. I believe that Rahman is underestimated as a writer. His wife has taken readers by storm, and he is no amateur. His writing is both descriptive and breathtaking. It's a great book, said Barbara Comstock, executive director of the Children's Book Council. It was a real page turner, Byrne said. Anticipating! I can't say that I'm patiently waiting because I'm ready. Many thanks for your help!

   Another epic read from JaQuavis
He got caught up in the game and ultimately lost everything to his wife. The end was a shocker, Blair said.

   Good read
The novel had me anticipating what would happen next. We are actually having this book club meeting in August! I am so pleased to know that you are a husband-wife book authorsteam. Inspiring and lovable, Mr. Blooze told us all about his new found passion for music. The book is very good, said Pauley. As I read so many novels about the game of basketball, the game never loved no one.
