Very detailed scholarship, brining in multiple points of view. It is definitely a study Qur'an, most of the pages are devoted to notes, which makes reading the text somewhat difficult to read.

I love this edition ''. The pages, a tad thin, but as Simone is interested in Islam in a very great way, I find this wonderful tome very helpful. It was recommended by Hafizulla Sufi and I am truly grateful to have purchased the study guide. It helps me to reduce my ignorance of the wonderful faith that Islam is.

For all English speaking people, English speaking muslim or non-muslim interested in learning about Islam and reading the most authentic word of Almighty in its original language. This is the latest translation and commentary in a single. It is the result of the efforts of a very scholarly team, led by Professor Sayyed Hossein Nasr, a leading Shia scholar. The commentary draws references from both the religious books of Shia and Sunni. It is a very timely and valuable addition to the knowledge base about Islam. It is available in both hardcover and a more convenient and portable digital version, which you can download on your smartphone and tablet. I recommend it whole heartedly.

   This is a fantastic Study Quran
This is a wonderful study quaran, however the kindle format is difficult to read. The Quran format does not separate the notes from the kindle text, so that a reader must read through all the notes while reading verses. It would be better to have the option to read the links to the notes so that one can click the verses uninterrupted. This may not be the fault of the authors, as the notes themselves are interesting and well researched.

   Excellent Translation and Commentary
I bought this book because I wanted to explore the Quran and find out what it actually says, and when I came across a description of this book, I decided to purchase it. The book has been translated into English and commentaries were written by several Muslim scholars who teach at universities in the United States. I find the translation and commentaries easy to read and understand. I find this book so fascinating that it is difficult for me to put it down. The pages are thinnish, exactly like the ones in my Bible study Life Application. I am very glad I decided to purchase this book, and am also very glad that I purchased the hardcover version instead of the soft back.

This is a book by Ease that is so detailed and designed for Alhamdulillah in studying the Quran. I am a Muslim convert and I have been reading the Quran for over thirty years now. There have always been some things in it that I do not know exactly what it refers to, and I am so happy to see something written that gives opinions as to what scholars think and feels the meaning to be. Alhamdulillah, I love it.
