Blah and shallow. Uninteresting plot
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
This book was not as good as Jenny Han's To All the Boys I've LOVED Before, but it was better than that one. I found the story boring and shallow. I finished it because I had read another Han novel and thought there was more to come. It took me a few weeks to get through it because it was dull. Nostalgia factor, eh... character quality... boring... What is the overall plot? I'm already asleep thinking about it. I didn't know that the next book in the series was series quality, but I still read it and it was not better than the original. I didn't like reading this book because it took me awhile to finish and I was never excited to pick it up again, but I was happy when it was over.

Just OK

This book was good. It was a nice coming of age story, but I felt like I had read 100 other similar stories. The story was nice, but I didn't want to read the other books in the series.

Exceptional

I chuckled. I was crying. I read the whole book in one sitting. Some of the characters were annoying, but they were real. That is what I loved the most. The book is authentic.

Great book!
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
This was one of those books that you read and laugh at, and think about what they were thinking at other people. The summer I turned pretty was a light read that made you feel good at the end. Sometimes you wish you were the main character in a book.

It was a great book
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
I liked this book very much. It was a great tale of coming of age. It captures what it's like to be young, but still have to deal with adult problems. It was an awesome book, but it started out slow.

Sooo Good(:
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
I read We'll Always Have Summer before this one because I didn't know that they were a trilogy. My friends and I just laughed at that whoopsie off. This book was great. The love triangle blossoms throughout the whole trilogy. In this one, you meet the boys and they sounded very cute. Every other chapter is a movie. I really liked it. It was a great way to start the trilogy.

WOW. Where should I start? You are a legend! When I heard about the hype around this one, I had to buy it. I loved the storyline and the best friends to lovers is TROPEIDC. You will not regret it if you buy it. I bought the other two books as well and I can't wait for the new Amazon series. !

A Good Beach Read
Derived From Web , Jun 17, 2021
A teenage girl about to turn 16 is staying in a summer home on the beach with her mom's best friend's family every summer. Two brothers are part of that family. We follow Belly throughout the summer as she tries to balance her feelings for more than one boy. This was a sweet story, but I didn't think there was a lot of loose ends tied up in this one, and it was a lot of build up for the second book in the series.

I hated the boys
Derived From Web , Jul 10, 2020
I read the To All the Boys I've LOVED Before trilogy before buying this book. I didn't like Belly's real brother, Steven, or her pretend brothers. I like him. Belly was not treated right by the others. I didn't like how Steven treated her for her 11th birthday. I'm an only child and it made me happy. I didn't like Belly as much as the other series did. I loved that Susannah would always get presents for Belly. That's something I would do. The boys threw Belly into the pool. I thought that was very mean. I hope they grow up! After Conrad andJeremiah's fight, I enjoyed the writing the most.
