Book Overview

Once upon a mountaintop, three little trees stood and dreamed of what they wanted to become when they grew up. Each of their dreams come true in an unexpected way in this lovely retelling of an old folk tale. This Lion classic, beloved by young and old, is now retold in simpler text for younger readers.

   brought tears to my eyes
I borrowed this book from the library first to read to my 5 year old at bedtime. I had never heard of it before and had just picked it up by chance. As I read it to my daughter, I had tears in my eyes. Never read a children's book that brought emotions the way this one did ''. I ordered it immediately on Amazon and received it, we had to have it in our personal library. I highly recommend '' this. It is great for helping your child know Jesus on a different level than just a Sunday morning. It will also spark questions about your child's life from his life. Awesome learning opportunities!

I live this book and how it reminds you that ...
I love this book and how it reminds you that GOD has his timing and that everything he does might not understand it, but everything he does has a purpose.

   Touching tale
I love this book and the message ''. I feel ridiculous that I read it every time I cry. The kids don 't, just me! For anyone who ever felt like their life, it may be bigger than you could ever imagine.

This is such a beautiful story.
This is a must-have for every Christian home. The story is so beautiful that it could bring tears to your eyes. Could '', because everyone's sensitivity level is different. I am not a cryer, but I am a Christian and it has caused me to tear. If you don 't have this book added to your library by your child, I hope you will keep it when you can.

   A BEAUTIFUL STORY ABOUT TREES
I live in the Redwoods, they surround me on the property. I love them, as they are majestic. I was in our small home town on Christmas Eve and I read this book and kept your attention. So I thought it fitting to get this for my granddaughters and they enjoyed it as much as I did. For them being many stars away, they don 't have redwoods, but we know. They love the book.

Gave was given as a gift for nieces'baptism in Gave, Gave. Beautiful story that brings me tears and reminds me how good God is! !Disappointed in the layout and presentation of this book! It is a paperback and not recommended for the toddler infant stage. There are other more expensive hard cover hard cover versions of this book, which I highly recommend over this one.

   Family Tradition
This book is exhibited on high quality pages with a message that is deeply thought provoking, yet gentle. Our Christmas Eve tradition was to give them to the children around the tree before an angel exchange and a birthday cake to Jesus.

   A life changing book!
My mom would read this to me several times while growing up ; now I work with kids and young students and can recall this whole story. It is a very powerful story line! I recently bought it for my friends baby shower for him to read. I believe that it will be a story to remember and perhaps help anyone in need of a perspective of their life.

What was meant for bad God changes for their good!
This book is love this book! Love this book! Describes trees having big dreams. Their dreams don 't come true as they anticipated, but God made what was meant for good into something even better than what they dreamed originally.
