       Insightful read
An excellent read, Gillian. The book really explains the ins and outs of financial planning for your business. If you want to have a successful business or looking for financial advice, this book is a must read.
       Awesome, just awesome!
I attended a seminar that Mark had and he is awesome, just blew my mind. I couldn't believe how little I knew about business.
       Strongly recommend.
Mark Kohler knocked it out of the park. I waited for my review to see if it was the same ole same ole. It was a non-starter, the Web site said. It was a breath of fresh air into subjects that I consider boring by necessity.
Good Book, But a Little Light. Still Important to Read
It has the potential to be great, but needs more depth. Indeed, the book has sections on family, employment and even bankruptcy. Even if the Pentagon insists that it is not a military strategy, it positions this as one of the most important and advantageous strategies. This section is about 5 pages long and doesn't talk about the spouse, only kids, Morgenthau said. There are so many more to talk about, Sosa said. This book is strong in general legal guidance, which is very important. Thus, if you want to do this right, you're going to have to read three books: Aleksandra Botkin's book, "How to Get Rich Selling," and Nolo's book, "Small Business Taxes." Its a little shallow in places, but still important, he said.
Made me mad so I must write this review
I am reading this book from the cover until the very last page, and I had to stop and write this review. By this point in the book, I think I read ten times the author's caution against using Internet sites to form companies. It's not easy, and people make mistakes, Sosa said. He says he is railing against "bad" sites, but stops short of calling them pornographic. It's just that legalZoom doesn't know. Annoying is the only adjective I use to describe it. If you think so, you made your point, move along. But wait, he has two full-time paralegals doing the work. It's mostly self promotion, publicist Paul LiCalsi said.
       New business owner
I purchased this book in conjunction with a few others to help me be sure I have a well-rounded view of things. This book is good for what it is -- even though I have heard some of this before, I like that I can now map out my business. The best-selling author also offers advice on health insurance and retirement. Even if you have a child, having a good book to have on hand is a good idea. It's always good to do your own reading, even if it's a bit difficult.
       Well written w/ solid advice!!!
I was very sceptical at first because I had purchased several other books on how to save on paying less with a small business corporation. If you don't know, the largest single expense that any one person or business has is taxes!
A must for small business owners
Whether you're a sole proprietor or a corporate entity, this book will give you a solid understanding of tax strategies for small businesses. You probably still want to hire a CPA but after reading this, you will understand what options you have and you will be able to have meaningful discussions regarding said options, he said.
       For interested beginners
The book helped me to know what I don't know. It's very empowering to see financial strategies like this being implemented for the first time. If you're new to long-term tax and financial planning and are thinking about starting a business, this book is for you. I almost skipped over the sections I thought were relevant to me, but then decided it was better to gain a cursory understanding of what I might need later than not know it was there at all. It's just that the subject seems dry until you see the possibilities. It's just that they call it 'casual', which is a good thing. Cheers to the Yankees.
Changed my Accountant because of this book
The book teaches you a lot about running your own business without leaving it to an accountant or lawyer. Of course, you need those two experts and more but there are things in this book and other books from Mark that not even my accountant told me about. Its definitely an eye opener for new business owners but especially for seasoned owners like me.
