Very good tool to teach your kids to protect themselves and act responsibly on the internet.

My 9 year old daughter loved it, it has pictures and colors, the story provides a very good graphic description of technology, how everything you do on the Internet can become a gift, a scar or a big hole that you can never repair, and all the consequences that will affect your future life. As a parent, I believe there is no better way to protect your children than by teaching them to teach and teaching them to protect themselves. This book is a worthy investment.

Sooooo '' well done. I recommend this to anyone with children highly. We have two elementary school boys and were so interested in the idea that your tail can be seen forever ''. I even heard one of his friend telling him about it.

Too wordy, preachy, art is not great
Derived From Web , Jul 31, 2019
Based on the reviews, I had high hopes for this. I understand the message, but it could have been better. The vocabulary was too high for K-2 and was honestly a bit preachy. A children's picture book should tell a story in such a way that children infer the message. Plus, the art was not great.

Too preachy and too wordy
Derived From Web , Jun 29, 2019
I had high hopes for this book, but it is just too wordy. As a result, I found my kids zoning out as I read it. The author could have clearly expressed her point in fewer words. I find this to be the case lately with a number of Julia Cook books. It is disappointing because she does touch a number of very pertinent topics that address the needs of young people. I don 't really recommend it, there are better options out there.

Guidance on posting online not presented effectively
Derived From Web , May 18, 2019
Lot of good information and guidance on being nice to others online, but this book has crammed too many lessons on each page. The pictures are probably the most admired by older children, but the direction is for the younger ones, so there is some disharmony here. I think that most kids will quickly realize that this is basically a lesson or many lessons and they will lose interest.

Fun to read to kids and helps them to see ...
Derived From Web , Mar 17, 2018
Fun to read to children and helps them see why they should avoid certain information on the internet. The kids actually enjoy the book. I work with children and find it appropriate for any child who is in any way on social media.

Julia Cook nails it again!
Derived From Web , Mar 10, 2018
This is a great book for children to help them understand the basics of social media pitfalls. She includes the THINK acronym in the story, which is awesome! I would recommend this book for the 2nd grade to about 5th grade.
