   THE THREE LITTLE JAVELINAS
The book was bought for an ex-school teacher who has a collection of children's books in her home. She told me she didn't see one, so I, her sister-in-law, bought the book for her collection. It's adorable, Mr. Caramore said. The work is one of a kind. Marjorie Ramgren, widow of the late Ned Ramgren, said her husband never talked about suicide.

   A Must Have!
This book made an impression on me as a child when my teacher read it to us in grade school. Now that I am a teacher myself, I knew I had to have this book. It's better than I remembered, Mr. Dhaliwal said. It's a classic story that kids love. It's a book that combines elements of fiction and nonfiction, using everything from the desert to tell the story. The use of tumbleweed, saguaro ribs and adobe bricks was a total blast.

Three Little Pigs Retold for New Mexico and Arizona
This book has been given to many children by their parents. It's a great re-telling of the story from the viewpoint of people living in the Southwest, and I've received good feedback from the young recipients, he said. Young readers, I think children aged 5-7 are perhaps the ideal age to enjoy the book, but there are flexible options, he said.

If you live in the Southwest, then........
If you live in the Southwest, then this is a MUST. It is a delightful take on the Three Little Pigs, with the illustrations by Pauley Scruggs and Brian Stokes Mitchell. Very good. It is getting harder and harder to find. We purchase this book every time we are invited to a child's birthday party or a shower. Southwest has a tradition of irreverent humor.

Great gift idea and a great book
Living in the Southwest, this is one of my favorite baby gifts to give. This and a little Javelina from the toy store make such a cute pair.

   Very entertaining
His granddaughters, ages 3 and 4, loved the book that was based on the popular "Little Red Book." Want me to read it over and over again?

   They’re not pigs - they’re Javelinas !
A sweet little introduction to the world of Javelinas aka Collared Peccaries. It's great for babies that age, 4 and up.

   Looks Terrible!
The pictures are in odd and strange places, the words are out of place and the conversation is in a foreign language. Amazon's version is sold for $11. The worst e-book I've seen in quite awhile.

   Fun and educational!
I've read the entire book, and I'm in love. Even though they were outnumbered, the boys managed to learn a few things about the desert.

Better than The Three Little Pigs
I'm a kindergarten teacher and I live in a desert area in New Mexico. I saw this book in our school library and immediately grabbed my kids and read it to them. The Harrisons had no interest in becoming tabloid fodder, said Barbara Goldberg, a New York City lawyer who handled many of the estate cases. Even though we're all huge fans of Beatrix Potter, we had to compare and contrast this book with the Three Little Pigs. This is a parody, said Dr. Abraham, "but it's also very serious."
