!--!--!--!--!--!--!--!---!--!--!--!--!---!--!--!--!--!--!--!--!--!--!---!---!--!--!--!--- This is NOT to repeat the 1927 Treasure Tower, nor is it to replace the original. He was not eighteen at the time of the recording. Adelia did not lend money to Robinson in the original version of the story. The illustrations alone tell the reader that this is not the original 1927 version. I have nothing against this 1959 revision of the original story, but I wanted to get the original version on my Kindle. It had been my plan to get the original five stories, Raymond said. I am glad I only bought the first one, if Amazon can produce the ORIGINAL VERSIONS of these fine stories, I shall be glad to purchase them.

Old Fashioned GREAT Read
Derived From Web , May 6, 2022
This book and the series are still incredible all these years later. I first read them as a 9-year-old and now I am gifting them to children in my life. Yes, they are old fashioned but they are clean and innocent and I don't have to worry about reading each one again to see if it is appropriate before I give them as a gift.

Fine, but not what I wanted
Derived From Web , May 6, 2022
I was hoping to find the original version as that was what I needed for class. However, it was a new version. I was still able to make it work for my class. Not bad if you like Hardy boys, but just keep in mind that it is not the original 1930s. 1927: Hindemith's widow, Ethel, objected to the use of the surname Hindemith. Copyleft.

I definitely recommend the Hardy Boys novels
Derived From Web , May 6, 2022
Definitely recommend the Hardy Boys novels. The book was originally published in 1974 and has a 5th-6th grade reading level. The books are part of the AR Book program, so your kids can test on them. They present some challenging older words and ideas that I enjoyed explaining to my son. The mysteries are appropriate for girls or boys, and are quite intriguing to the end. You will find no inappropriate words or innuendo, which is refreshing in this day of early lost innocence.

And here we go
Derived From Web , May 6, 2022
Before we start I wanna say that the review of warriors sunset was me, I put my dad's name though. This book is good but a little boring at times. It starts out with the hardy bros on bikes and being chased by a reckless driver, I always think of sonic x when I read this part, just figured I'd say that. The boys go to their friend Chets' house and find his car was stolen. Then they find the car and realize the tower was robbed. After the hobo finds the property, the police find a criminal who is a hobo, classic. Then they happily live happily ever after. The main problem with this is that most of its really boring and is very cliche. I would have to give it a 6 out of 10, it's good but sometimes a little boring.

Family time

Easy to read aloud. A 10-minute excerpt from the first chapter. Entire family can't wait to find out what happens next. It's a better choice than watching TV before bed.

Received different book than what is described.
Derived From Web , Apr 7, 2020
The Hardy Boy books were originally published in 1959. This is the revised 180 page book, not the original series described under product copy, or shown in the picture of the book cover, and not what you are assured you are receiving when you click on the book cover and get the next screen.
