   My Christmas present to myself!
Very well worth the wait. This book has great patterns, instructions, photos and even a few decorative touches. And to see a granny square based on a Jackfield Tile pattern blew me away, said Gillian.

   Fantastic collection of beautiful granny squares
I'm partial to the squares, too. This book includes some fruit, animals, some basic patterns and tons of flower patterns. Some of the hydrangeas are gorgeous, too. Hand-picked images of the six steps of the alphabet that follow: one row of squares, two rows of squares. I can't wait to make a new afghan with the patterns I choose, so many different options!

A huge amount of granny squares found in this book - it has a nice mix of beginner, intermediate and advanced techniques, said Ms. Shannon.    Beautiful Granny Square maker.
In the past I've used traditional Granny Squares for blankets, but they're not as decorative as they are today. It's great to see the plane go, said Burt Flickinger of Strategic Resource Group. The squares are very textured, I like that. There are some very good squares, too. Traditionalists are not the only people to complain about the new taxes. The instructions are pretty good. If there are any mistakes, it's in my understanding. Very nicely edited instructions. One would be to number the rows on the graphs with the written instructions for doing so. Also I used traditional add-on and worked over the yarn of previous rows to help cut down on weaving in once completed. Also, a little more on putting the squares together would be nice.

Great content, great people. Clear and inviting pictures of the models make them stand out. Skill levels are rated on a scale of 1 to 10. I mostly read charts instead of the written patterns and haven't found errors, he said. I can't speak of written patterns. Traditional squares are also available at some 60 percent of furniture stores nationwide. There are no offensive or mildly offensive squares in this game, Williams said. Note to publisher: I wish the binding had been better. I feel like I'm going to have to be very careful with this treasured resource of mine to save the pages coming loose, he said.
