The people that are giving this 5 starts have not used the book. The pages are thin and white. The other side is hard to use. The paper quality of the book is terrible.

The style of caligrqphy shown in the booklet is one that I don't like. I like the original caligphyrq. Not worth the money. I could have found it for free. I wish I could get a refund, but I wrote in it.

Good book. Doesn’t have nib style practices

The book is very good. If you are using a pen, you should pick up some calligraphy paper. Maybe tracing paper. I have a set of nibs and this book doesn't have anything to do with them. If you want to use brush or hard tipped markers, it's great.

I have used a lot of other books that had a larger selection of lettering and this one only focuses on brush markers and faux calligraphy. The reviews were not what I was hoping for.

The book was for calligraphy. It would have been nice to see a few more pages. Each style of letter had a single page. If you need extra practice, you have to make copies of the pages. It would be better if instructions were more clear for each page.

It's a good book with good information for beginners. The focus is on the use of brush pens. I don't recommend this book for someone who wants to use a flat nib pen.

This book is a disappointment. I am as beginner as one can be, and have been wanting to learn calligraphy. The book does a poor job of explaining what type of penmarkerbrush is best for what type of font, and it doesn't help guide how to write at a size other than what is outlined in the pages. I learned a little, but will be using the instructions from pins on pins to learn calligraphy. I wish I had saved my money.

A good basis, but seems to be missing the most important part....actually writing the words

Have you ever seen a joke where you learn to draw an owl and it skips from step 3 to step 12? That is the book. She shows you how to write the letters, but not how to connect them. I feel like she skips over a bunch of steps when I read a different book. The book is thin and the ink bleeds through it.
