   I couldn't have done the Daniel Fast successfully without this book!
This is my first Daniel Fast post. When my church performed the Daniel Fast last year, I was scheduled to go on vacation and there was much turmoil in my life. I did not think that I could successfully complete the fast track. But I went and ordered the ULTIMATE GUIDE TO THE DANIEL FAST so that I would be prepared for the next time when the church was asked to do it. When our pastor announced that the Daniel Fast would begin on 1 August, I read my book and received it to read. I could see that a preparation is needed to do this quickly. I prepared my 2 weeks by reading, praying and planning. Kristen could not have done the Daniel Fast without Kristen's book. Carry It All The Way '', I have carried it everywhere with me during the fast and have so many things flagged that it looks like a porcupine. Kristiten thank you for creating such a helpful tool.    awesome book!!!!!
I picked this book for Christmas and did the 21-day fast in Janurary. What a wonderful experience all around! The book of Kristen made the fast fun and easy. I tried a number of new recipes... My kids even liked some of them. The devos in this book are great : I have recommended this to many friends. It is truly designed to draw you near God... and it has worked. Kristen thank you. May God bless your book to use many! I'm pretty sure that Gimme has even more Granola! With Almond Milk, you are going to be at the banquet table in Heaven. Oh yeh, don 't forget to visit the author's website for more encouragement and recipe's. This is a great source of additional information.

Indeed, the book exceeded my expectations. There I enjoyed every recipe and most notably the daily devotions.

   Great devotional
Daniel Fast was thrilled to read and use the Book ''. The devotional section of it was amazing and hit home quite a few times during my fast journey. And the educational section of the book was very interesting and easy to follow. The cookbook's recipes section was another subject. I tried quite a few of the recipes and enjoyed only two. , I actually ended up eating my own versions of the recipes in the book and creating my own food choices due to not only not enjoying the others, but also finding them inedible. The recipes in the book were also very time-consuming and expensive, as most of the ingredients were things I never use in my kitchen. I'm sorry that I couldn t give it a 5 star rating, but I don 't feel that it would justify my review if I did.

   Awesome reference during and after your fast
If you want your Daniel Fast to be even better this year, you will be so glad that you bought this book! If you want to start closer to the Lord with thoughtful devotions, this is an engaging place to grow with your Bible in hand.

   pretty good
I love that she points out what a fast is and what it is not. The recipes look great - I probably use some of them even when I am not fasting. My only complaint is that some recipes sound like cheats. A great book though, because hey! I just don 't have to use these recipes on my fast.

   Great book!
I used this book last summer and again at the beginning of the new year. I love the included recipes and all the support direction that is within this book. But I loved most of all the devotions that are included for each day of the fast. I looked at a lot of different plans'books, but the one that seemed most complete and was the most encouraging was the Ultimate Daniel Fast. After doing this twice, I feel like this is the way I want to eat for the rest of my life. I do not feel compelled to eat in another way. And the recipes included in the book, as well as the ones on the website of the book, are delicious and wonderful.

   Not for me
This book was not just what I expected. The first half of the book is devotional prayers and an explanation for the Daniel fast. The devotionals are very much aimed at a tired stay at home - mother, as she often discusses her family. If you are ever veganvegetarian or you love to cook with spices and flavor, this is definitely not the book for you. It includes recipes such as fried chickpeas, taco salad, etc. It was just not for me, but you might like it?

   Knowledgeable on the subject of prayer and fasting
When I started reading this book, I could not put it down. I have read books before the Daniel Fast, but the content of this book gave me a different perspective, which provided me with a stronger tool when I began my fast.

   Fasting made simple
Good book, very helpful. However, the recipes were a challenge for me, seeing as most things require a little more time than I had to prepare, and others were not to my liking. I love daily reading and a list of foods to eat and avoid.
