Perforated pages!?!

Most of the pages are vertically perforated. I can not return it because it is a birthday present for a friend with dementia. It is important for his well being that he has it in his hands on his birthday. But he was healthy when he was rough. Within days, he will have this thing in ruins. The quality control is minus 300.

I read this book for my personal pleasure and for my personal knowledge. Some of the interesting information that this book mentions include the following information : the original name of the New York Jets franchise was the New York Titans. In 1963, the team changed its name to New York Jets. The downside of moving to Shea Stadium was that they could not play home games until the New York Mets finished their season.

The book is deep on Yankees trivia and digs in a quiz format. We had a nice time with me answering the questions and him asking, and I know that next to no Yankees has trivia. The interactive option that one could take with the book is a huge unexpected bonus.

Save yourself some time and buy a book on Derek Jeter just in case. The author seems to think that he is about 12 of the Yankees history. Every other page has a Jeter fact or a wowzer about this player. In my opinion, the Yankees are the greatest baseball team in history, and I don 't see the point of tying a book the ultimate New York Yankees Trivia book, when a huge amount of it is even as good as he happens to be. He isn 't even close to an SLG of.690, like the Babe.

I knew he would enjoy it, and he dived right in. It's beautifully laid out chapter begins with a quiz, with the subsequent answers right behind it. Then a “ few pages of did you know '' for each chapter, actually giving details of the trivial points. The book covers everything from the huge price of various jerseys sold to the haunted Yankee stadium. Managers, players, their lives before and after baseball and amazing little strange facts about many of these people that most of us would never know. A whole chapter devoted to Ruth! This is an absolutely fascinating book and an amazing achievement in its astounding collection of facts.
