   So Clever
Such a clever way to teach a story and tell children about grammar. As an adult, I loved reading this book, it made me laugh and my niece and nephew enjoyed it thoroughly.

   Very cute and educational.
This book is funny and snazzy. My 6yo and her 9yo loves it. It is educational and fun. They often ask to read it.

Great book for kids, enjoyable for parents
It's a great story for kids, but also full of witty puns, I can appreciate. When I saw that they had a new book coming out, I grabbed it for my son for Christmas, and we have since had to read it to him almost every night, and is not usually the type to read the same thing over and over. After a few months, my husband is sick of it, but I still appreciate the quality of the story, which is just and clever as the first book and the illustrations.

   Absolutely awful
This is one of the absolute worst children's books I ever encountered. It is clear that they had an idea that they thought was clever and just forced to make it into a book. Don 't waste your money or time.

   Lazar is Fab!
My Library students LOVED this sequel to Tara Lazard's book, 7 : 9. Her funny writing and the use of puns make this book fun for all ages!

A great read-aloud for little ones and older kids too
In this sequel to 7 Ate 9 The Untold Story, Tara Lazar continues to come up with the puns. In the upper case, every page is filled with them, so that parents and children alike discover something new with each reading. Little ones will like the funny detective story and enjoy pointing out letters they recognize, while older children will appreciate more of the wise wordplay. The bright and bold illustrations enhance the mood set by Private I, the perfect hard-boiled detective.

   Brilliantly funny
I love the way the author infused humor and educational elements about punctuation into the story. The word play and the spirit of the story make it so much fun to read.
