   Ongoing suspense
Loved the interweaving of current stories of eerie happenings from the past into a local investigation that is equally frightening.

   Not my style
Not into the normal. It was completed out of respect for the author. The following books will not be read.

   A rare disappointment
New series Fogg Lake is a huge disappointment for Jayne Ann Krentz. Because this is an INCREDIBLY special experience for me -- I also feel her work -- I usually read the second book in the series, All The Colors of Night... and I read the same way. Alessppointed. The stories in both the books seem to be a mashup of her contemporary enigmatic novels and her harmony books written under Jayne Castle, in some similar situations, a great deal of eerie descriptions, especially about the paranormal rainbow. The only thing missing is pretty much the earth-bound equivalent of a dust bunny. Anne Kayne Krentz is one of the hardest-working and best novelists in business. I wish, however, that she would have put her effort into another HarmonyRainshadow book. My color is non-paranormal.

   Good book, but . . .
There is nothing worse than bad grammar. e.g. Abusing the reflexive pronouns of '' affect vs. effect, etc. No sooner am I read, then off '' is written. Doesn 't anyone now edit?

   Can't go wrong with Krentz
I don 't think that I have come across a bad book from her or her pseudonyms. I believe you, I read them all! This is a new beginning to a beautiful series.

   Loved it
I loved the characters and the story line, I can 't wait for the next.

   Same same
I love this author, but the stories become too much alike and the overuse of paranormal in this book made it a yawn.

   The Vanishing (Fogg Lake)
I have never read a bad story from her and I have read every one of them, including all her Amanda Quick books.

   Excellent
I am so happy that I bought the novel. Can 't wait for more ''

   Boring
This is just a mishmash of several of her other books that she is trying to pass as new. As several other readers have said $13.99 for this is way overpriced. I have been reading Jayne Castle since she wrote for Candelight as Jayne Castle, but this is the end. Sorry to Jayne, if you can't sell harder as an author, I can 't try as a reader.
