   Love this series!
I can't even decide if this is the best collection of the three. It's almost comparing apples to oranges, I must admit. The Compendium 3 takes us to a whole new world. Its a place I never imagined coming, and I have no idea how I'm going to wait for the next chapter in the series!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Walking Dead graphic novels are the first and only comic books I ever read. It was a difficult task for me to get into the flow of comic reading, but once I got the hang of it, I was hooked! Now I'm trying to find something else to do with my time until the next chapter comes out! The compendiums of the Walking Dead are a great way to read ALL the books in the set, as there are a lot. It's also a great way to save a few bucks in doing so, versus buying each individual issue of a comic book. The book is divided into four sections: The Doctrine of Hindsight, Chapter 17-24; The Power of Law, Chapter 24; and The Rule of Thumb, Chapter 18-26.
   Walking Dead fan for life
Since the show began, I have been a Walking Dead junkie. The story arcs and development of Rick Grimes as a fictional character are grounded in classic literary tropes. The series does well because I can relate to characters and I'm putting myself in situations and reflecting on how I would react given certain circumstances, he said. The artist's passionate and lyrical images are drawn and laid out in a way that brings out the artist's emotions. The dead are drawn with a fine, curved eye for accurate details of decay and rot of tissue. He urged readers who have an interest in the undead to try reading all three.
   Totally worth it!
I know of people who don't want to read the comics, because they don't want to spoil the show. The show follows the adventures of Stan Lee and his team of misfits. Some of it is the same, some is not. You can't have the show spoiled by the comics, because you just don't know whether the writers are going to follow the comics on this particularly story line. In the third and final volume of the "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, you meet two new villains -- Negan and the Saviors. They both are scary and make the Governor look like a pansy. Amazon also offers free comics online, but I really enjoy reading them by turning pages.
perfect for any walking dead fan who wants to predict ...
It's perfect for any walking dead fan who wants to predict the outcome of the series. If you have the first two, it's a must have. if you are watching the latest season of the show and cannot wait each week for the rest of the season it is great to catch up and go beyond the television show. If you have never read the comics, you should get the first two compendiums and then get this one. He added that Amazon does not buy individual volumes of books. The average Joe will pay $575 for each compendium. Definitely worth the money.
Great Book with Terrible Printing. Beware! Expect to have to return a few to get a good one.
A great book, an excellent value, but I'm not a huge fan of Amazon. com pricing. The book is being reprinted, but there are some terribly misprinted books out there. We're thrilled to have received five star ratings from readers, said Blair Simon, director of music for AOL Europe. Amazon will take them back and replace them with new designs, but mine was an untrimmed mess with art slipping off the page. Amazon should have caught the book and shipped it to me, Mr. G. O'Neill said.
An essential for any TWD fan!
I'm a huge walking dead, but no so much a comic book fan. I also bought the companion volume, "The Compendium and Compendium 2." As I stated I'm a huge fan of the show, the story has already kept my interest. As for the books themselves, I would recommend reading them at a desk or something similar. I would recommend them to any walking dead fan.
THIS BOOK IS AMAZING. I love buying the compendiums because I don't ...
He also wrote: "This book is amazing. It's great to have the compendiums because I don't have to buy each comic as they are released. The third compendium is by far the best. I love having all three of them on my bookshelf. The fifth volume of the "Chronicles" series will be released on September 4, 2004.
Must have for Walking Dead Comic Fandom.
My husband is a huge fan of both TV and comic books, so this was perfect anniversary for him. I had previously purchased the other compendium, so it was a must for his horror-based fandom. This is a great read and present for any fan of either the shoe or comics.
   incredible series!
seriously you got to this point and you need to tell if this is a good series! But, boy, do we know it's compelling and amazing. dark and serious but also addictive. You can't put this series down!
Great product, but pretty sure it was a returned copy...
While the book is in decent condition, I was disappointed to find out that I received a copy that was previously returned. It was not shrink-wrapped and the front cover has some light damage, the writer said. Overall, it was a mixed bag.
