   Fun Children's Book
She's a horse who wants to feel special, so she doesn't hesitate to try her hand at a carrot horn and becomes a unicorn. An accident with a pink paint truck completes her look. Will her newfound fame change her life? It's such a cute story about loving yourself, just the way you are, Raymond said.

   Adorable!
NBC also aired a prime-time special on the teen, "Do the Right Thing." I highly recommend Dr. Goin's book.

   Adorable book with good message
A book about a boy who has a secret. I love the moral of the story and the sweet ending, and I've bought it for all my nieces and nephews.

   This is a cute story.
I saw it in a small bookstore. It was for my great niece's birthday and I couldn't bear to part with the money. It was a cute story, and I bought it because it was on sale. It was a no brainer, and he immediately went to his three grown children and bought copies for them in memory of his Grandma Thelma.

   Absolutely adorable!
The most adorable new children's book out there! Even though I'm not a huge fan of the book, I enjoyed the story line and a great life lesson about accepting yourself just the way your are. We've read it to her so many times she can't stop!

Maybe not the best for sensitive children.
It was a total disaster, and I didn't like it. I'm not a big fan of the unicorn, but I liked the idea of the plain horse. In the middle of the book she finds fame, but then the book highlights the fame that's not everything by showing fans holding up I hate unicorn signs, throwing rocks at her while she's roller skating and the piece de resistance is her in bed, covered in broken eggshells. It just seemed a bit much, Gammerman said.

   Hilarious
It has become a favorite read aloud in our home, both with our three and a half year old and with mom and dad. It is a sweet story about appreciating what you have and who you are, even if that means doing a double take. Really good pictures, Mr. Dhaliwal. This book also features the second book in the series, "Pig the Pug's Revenge." Such a blast, said Blair.

A great book about friendship and learning to be happy with who you are.
Throughout the semester I came to love this book more and more. She is a pony who wants to be a unicorn and by a stroke of luck can fool others into thinking she is a sparkly unicorn for awhile. This book is a great introduction to being happy with just who you are and that your true friends will always be there for you. After the semester I bought a book for myself and plan to buy more during the year so I can give a copy to all of my grandchildren for Christmas!

   Great book
Even her 3 1/2 year old niece has the story memorized. When the writer of the story told her it was her favorite color, she immediately fell in love.

   Love who you are
My 4 year old absolutely loved it. The moral of the story is that everybody is happy being themselves, Raymond said. The illustrations are cute and the pacing of the story is good, showing that fame isn't everything it's cracked up to be. In her defense, she said, "Mommy, she should just be herself."
