I wouldn't recommend this to kids jut learning to read

My 3 year old LOVES anything about superheroes so he has me read this for over and over again. He is not ready to read yet and can only do 3 letter blends. While there are some words that can be sounded out by kids learning to read, many are sight words and other mores are more complicated blends. This is recommended for parents to read to their kids to get them interested in reading and for more advanced readers, maybe 7 years old.

Horrible formatting on the regular kindle

The kindle works great for my son to practice his new reading skills. He is still not at the point where he is unsure of his reading ability. The book is in ePub format, which is also used by Amazon. com. The book's cover and the illustrations cover the entire story, sometimes making it impossible to read. Also the bottom or so of the book is not visible which means that sometimes the last inch of the sentences is just not there at all. This really upsets my kiddo, understandably. If you have a superhero fan, you can now buy a physical copy of the book. Don't waste your time with the kindle version, Mr. Rule told his wife.

It's a book that my 5 year old son will keep coming back to. Now I have a question: What universe is this? I'm now an assistant principal in elementary school. Low-frequency chalk words, academic vocabulary, and difficult vowel and consonant digraphs and blends fill out this book. The second-grade reading level is not that high, he said.
