Book came scuffed
Derived From Web , Jun 19, 2021
The content of the book is good, but the back cover is sticky and the front cover is damaged. This was supposed to be a baby shower gift. I was surprised it wasn't shipped in protective packaging since it's made of cardboard.

Not very engaging for little kids
Derived From Web , Jun 6, 2021
I wanted to like this. There is a cute book with some women. A lot of the women's accomplishments are hard to understand for little kids, and there's no story, no rhyming or anything. It's more like a list of awesome women with a 1 sentence synopsis of what she did, and you can be like her. Every few pages. It's not engaging. You can be like her! When you can't really understand what she did or relate to her, the situation doesn't mean much. I wish there was a set or collections book with more kid-friendly descriptions and an actual storyline about one woman at a time. Our four year old is not a good fit. She lost interest quickly. It may be better for older kids.

Horribly boring

It's horrible. One sentence per woman is what it has. Doesn't mention much about her. I didn't want my kids to read it.

Great Baby Book
Derived From Web , Sep 23, 2020
My sister received a baby book. She loves it! If you are looking to learn with your kids, this is the book for you, because most of the people in the book were new to my sister.

Great Book for little learners
Derived From Web , Aug 19, 2020
I bought this for my mother in law to read. We like the books in the series. The board books are good for toddlers. They make it hard for them to cry. The book is easy to read and the drawings are cute. We try to introduce pioneers at an early age.

Never too young to learn about our history
Derived From Web , Jul 28, 2020
We've bought Dream big, Think big, Little leaders and Little legends because we loved this book so much. I like the artwork and the message of the books. We will continue to read them to our 15-month-old for years to come.

Great book but dislikes illustrations with closed eyes
Derived From Web , May 5, 2020
I loved the book. It was a present for friends, but sad that all the women have their eyes closed. We read it to the toddlers and it was quite upsetting.

Missed the mark in my opinion. Wouldn’t repurchase.
Derived From Web , Oct 24, 2019
This book is very similar to the other books in the Big Dreams series, but it is not comparable to the other books in the series. My baby niece who I purchased for unlike the books from L.L.I. and the other had absolutely zero interest in this book, didn't even hold my attention flipping through it. There is a single picture and a short sentence about it. Cute pictures with incomplete facts. I wouldn't purchase again.
