Disappointed

It reads too much like he is a guru for celebrities and not genuine. The reader needs to take the book with a grain of salt. I don't recommend.

Jay is Worth a Listen or a Read
Derived From Web , Dec 26, 2021
I bought a hard copy of the book onAudible. He is an excellent coach who presents information in a way that is entertaining. If you want to see if his message meshes with you, you should watch one of his videos. I'm going to include Jay Shetty in my gratitude list in 2021.

I look for my next book. I love learning and growing. This is the top book I have read. I recommend this to everyone I know. Both of my kids are reading this. I can't say that about many books. It has given me a new way to look at things and I am more positive. It has affected my relationship with my wife and children.

Enjoying this book.
Derived From Web , Jul 25, 2021
I have been reading this book all year. I have read 78 other books this year and it is not because I am slow. It is not because it is boring or difficult to read. It is because I enjoy every chapter. As I go, I am also highlighting. I would recommend this book to others because I am getting a lot out of it. I will be re-reading it if only my sections are highlighted.

READ THIS BOOK!!!!!
Derived From Web , Apr 15, 2021
I can't say enough about this book. I am a drug and alcohol counselor and many of the techniques Jay talks about in the book are regular practices we teach in treatment. Why? Because it works. I tell my clients all the time that they should have access to the groups we facilitate because it is not only helpful for them in recovery from substance use disorder. Techniques and practices will enrich anyone's life. It is summed up beautifully through Jay's teachings. I would give more than 5 stars. I plan to buy more copies for family members after buying the audio and hardback versions. I don't think they will read it, but if they attempt a chapter or two it would be helpful for them.

Disappointed
Derived From Web , Oct 25, 2020
I was excited when I got this book, I heard so many good things about it, I couldn't wait to read it. I was left confused after getting through most of the book. Half of the time it didn't make sense and I had a hard time focusing on what I was reading. I was just reading quotes from other people. It was a waste of my money.
