   Awesome introduction to the language!
The book is great. If you' re the type of person who really needs a hard copy of Python3 you should buy it. It's been in the public domain for a long time. The interactive version is available. I bought it for my class because I'm the type of person who needs a piece of furniture to fall asleep with or cry on.

   Good as it gets
It's hard to like a book about programming. The best way to learn a programming language is through a short introduction course and some questions on the internet, even though it is a good reference and is well written. This is a good book if you prefer to read from cover to cover or just as a reference.

   Love this book
I am not a beginner but I do need to reference other material to understand how it is done in Python. My way of learning python is by working on solutions and using the material to understand the basics. I bought this book because I wanted to learn OOP programming. The author of this book explains the concepts well and I have already practiced 3-4 chapters from it. He builds on the examples and explains what needs to be said. The author explains the concept in a way that is easy to understand, and the examples help as well. The book will be useful for anyone who only knows basic programming concepts. It's not necessary to have prior knowledge of python.

   It's five-stars as a Python primer
This is a good book for someone who wants to learn how to program. I think it's good for someone who isn't sure what Python is about. The reader will get an indication of the language's structure. This is not the book for you if you want to learn in- depth. This is a good book for a survey of Python. The language used in the book is easy to comprehend. The author doesn't make any assumptions about programming knowledge. The book doesn't really scratch the surface of Python. It touches each topic with just enough to give the reader an idea of the bigger picture. It does not do a deep dive on any topic in particular. It's a great book as a primer. If you want to become a good novice Python programmer, you should go deeper with other resources.

Is this all Python can do?
When this book arrived, I turned to the chapter entitled Files and saw that it discussed writing text files and databases for the purpose of storing data created by a program so that it can pick up later where it left off. This sounds like a limited description of the powerful and flexible language. Does Python live in its own world? I'm an old geezer in a hurry and I'm looking for a computer language that will read the existing files from the Windows command line It doesn't sound like much to ask, but every computer language has a problem doing it. I hope that Python can be used to meet these requirements and that I can learn how to use another language.

Not for begginers, fine for intermediate to advanced
This is not recommended for begginers for Python. It may seem straightforward at first, but as you progress, the lessons become more vague and complicated. The author uses too much math for someone new to the program. I had to get this as a class book and it's proving to be a challenge with the whole class as well. I think it's two stars because of its lack of explanations.

   Teach Python to use immediately
Many books give you facts about the language, but very few of them help you make your work done. This book shows you how to use the language and teaches you how to use it in a way that will keep your knowledge deep in your mind. You will be able to pick the appropriate aproach to solve the task.

   Great beginner python book.
This is a great book. The book is free on his website, but it's nice to have examples in your hands to refer to when you are coding, instead of having to go back and forth between the two.

Fantastic read but hard copy has missing pages!
The book is well written. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the book. The book is about how to solve problems and introduce python. The progression of python was done nicely. There were several pages missing from my current copy of the book, which is the bad thing. The 4 star is for the missing pages. This product deserves a 5 star for what it accomplishes. I was able to read the missing pages in the online version of the book.
