Excellent book... cute, educational, and empowering stories of amazing women throughout history!
The book is a delight to read, and I recommend it to anyone. It would be a great empowering gift for baby girls but it is an equally wonderful gift to give to little boys to begin educating them to see women as their equals, he said. I want my son to be respected and acknowledge the talents and brilliance of women. It's definitely a favorite. He has a very good ear and I have to say he has brought it to me to read. In fact, we actually have the entire series!

   Good book but Falls Apart
I absolutely love the book, Taylor said. My daughter absolutely loves the book. The problem is board books are designed with toddlers in mind and this board book has not held up to this toddler.I purchased this book in March and several other books I purchased at the same time that appear to be made out of a similar material are still intact. I'm seriously disappointed because the content is so good, Mr. Dhaliwal said.

I Wouldn't Have Bought It If I Had Known Coco Chanel Was In It
I really wanted to read this book. What a positive message to share with my girl, Raymond said. But as I was reading it to her the first night, we got to the part about Coco Chanel. Coco Chanel, who was widely known for her philanthropy, died Sunday at age 82. There is also significant evidence that she was a secret agent. I applaud the author for wanting to give children a wide array of people to look at, but would have preferred that someone who was a known Nazi sympathizer be left out. She is not a role model, Blair said.

   Who is this book for?
I read this one on my 3.5 yo yesterday. I'm not saying I like being evil, but I do enjoy being part of the Evil Empire. Ha!? He further learns he doesn't understand the concept of trail blazer despite my attempts to define it. If you kid is into action-based story lines and doesn't yet know much about history, they will not give a dang about this book, Kirk said.

Fabulous book for our future leaders!
It is a great introduction to smart, courageous women. She also told me that I bought this book as a present for my 5 year old daughter's friend to help balance out the overtly Pop Culture stuff picked out by her. And I will be ordering many more to give to all the wonderful girls in my life.

and they love reading it together
The descriptions of these women have led to further chats with our wee ones on how things have always been fair for all. 0 1462228 It's just that simple," said one wee one on how things have always been fair for all. Very good customer service, Highly recommend.

Great book about great and strong women!
My daughter has a 2 year old and with everyone saying she's so cute, she's almost 5. What a pretty princess! It's refreshing to see a book about strong and brave women. There is nothing wrong with princesses to me, but it takes a little while to get used to them. So I bought this for her for Christmas and I'm excited to read to her about all the amazing ladies who impacted the world and kept telling her that she can be anything! As a mother, one of my greatest hopes is that my daughter will see her potential and realize it.

Another great edition to the series
This is another great edition of the series. The bright colors drew my six-month-old's attention and it was a wonderful way to introduce him to historical women that changed the game of basketball. They're all asleep, thanks to their parents.
