Book Overview

#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELER

The Manor, the very place where their passionate love affair began, fills with guests on what should be the happiest day of Ava and Jesse's lives. She has accepted that she'll never tame the fierceness in Jesse-and she doesn't want to. Their love is profound, their connection powerful, but just when she thinks that she's finally gotten beneath his guarded exterior, more questions arise, leading Ava to believe that Jesse Ward may not be the man she thinks he is. He knows too well how to take her to a place beyond ecstasy . . . but will he also drive her to the brink of despair? It's time for this man to confess.

   Disappointed
I don't feel like there was any character growth for either of them. The same thing happened all the way from book 1 with neither of them having learned anything other than that Jesse is psychotic. We don't catch a break because there is so much going on. We don't have enough time to recover from one drama before something else. Jesse lies up until about 85% of the story is written. I didn't want you to get upset and leave me, that's always the same excuse. It is from Jesse's point of view, as opposed to the whole book, and it is cute and funny. I am surprised that I spent so much money on the story of the series. I feel like I have been ripped off.

   Finally!!!
Yes, yes! We will finally get to understand Jesse. I was excited to piece together that puzzle. I am not disappointed, I have to say. Everything became clear for me. There have to be reasons that Jesse was unreasonable and controlling. I hoped so. Their relationship was clarified in the book. They were going to be together, come hell or high water. Ended. There is something freeing about that. Neither of them had carte blanche, but they could weather the storm. That hurting each other became intolerable. The first two books were hard for me to read, but this one made up for it. Looking forward to the future.

I could not put this final book down!
This book is the payoff after so many ups and downs with Jesse. There are some challenges. You finally get to enjoy Jesse and Ava. When a lot of his behavior was a bit of a turnoff for me, I have grown to like this character so much. The POV of Jesse in the first book helped me a lot. This book contains a lot of information to help you understand him. It makes you want Jesse Ward in your life. When she hides things from him, you want to scream at her. I couldn't get much else done in my life so I couldn't read it again. It's the mark of a good one.
