A great follow-up to the groundbreaking exercise of first amendment rights, PiHKAL. Sure, there are a whole lot of drug recipes in the back, but what is more fascinating is to know the mind of the man behind the compounds... his thoughts on science, technology, law and society. I found the story of the DEA raid particularly entertaining ''. Ann and Sasha thank you.

I do appreciate the wear and tear that this book came with. It indicated that it was indeed stored and not read. But damn... the cover disintegrated after a few read-downs to begin with.

   The stories at the beginning were awesome, as they were in Pihkal
I saw that a lot of people did not receive this book as well ; they felt it was lacking in comparison to Pihkal. There was more general information, but we were also talking about a completely different class of drugs. If you like the Shulgins, you should own both books, in my humble opinion, you will find great value in both.
