   Beautiful Book
This book is beautiful. Beautiful watercolor illustrations and rhythimic writing. The baby is introduced to lots of differentmals in the storyline. My 8 month old doesn't seem to care at all. She doesn't find the colors eye catching, entertaining or attrative because she doesn't understand the story line and only listens to my voice when I read to her. She likes pictures of babies. I highly recommend the line " Daddy Hugs, Mommy Hugs, and Counting Kisses" by Karen Katz. I'm not giving up on this book because I think it's really romantic. I'm still keeping it. She will love it when she gets older. She is starting to take intrest in our pets. She will love all the animals in this book and I know she will.

Family favorite for a reason ...
It's another favorite with our kids. This book was given to me by an older coworker, and I think of her every time I read or see it. The illustrations and rhymes are beautiful. The story is a great one.

   Sweet Book
There are cute pictures of animals at night in this book. The repetitive cadence of the two-line rhymes calms little ones and settles them down for the night. It ends with a cute, curly-topped child being tucked into a bed and the words, "Good night, my darling, sleep well..." One of our favorite books.

   Kiddo adores this!
My child likes this book. She had a hardcover version of this when we started reading it. We ended up having to recycle it because she ripped it so badly. They had a board book version of the new copy, and I was happy to receive it. She was excited when she saw we had a new one, and she always wants us to read it. She can't get enough of it, but I don't know if it's the rhyming, the gorgeous pictures, or that it has animals.

A classic that kids love to memorize and “read” to Mom
My little brother and sister loved this book. It was a well written book that soothed them as toddlers and they loved to read it to me or my mother each night. I think it helped them learn to read. We have a baby and we are reading to him. It's a perfect story for a tradition with beautiful artwork to hold the attention of kids of all ages!

   Lovely nighttime book
There is an easy repetitive rhythm to this little book. My son likes to look at it before he goes to sleep.

   Highly recommend
Beautiful artwork. The first book was good. It's interesting to children over a long period of time. Appropriate text for the situation. I have bought many copies of this book as gifts. My granddaughter was reading to me. Her parents read it to her. I put a photo of us into the book when I give it. At the end of the book, our granddaughter's parents turn to our photo and say, "Good night, good night Grandpa".

   Read it every night
We read it all night. It's a simple rhyme that can be used to set the tone for bed time. If we don't have the book, we can still recite it to our daughters because we have read it so much. The pictures are cute

   What’s up with negative reviews?
If you are nit picking on this book, you are goofballs. I enjoy the art. It's fun to make animal sounds for each page and my little one starts yawning when we read it because he knows bed time is coming.

One of our favorites, GORGEOUS artwork with sweet, simple story
The text in this book is simple and sweet. The artwork is wonderful. I am excited to read the paintings with my son. I would love to have art prints of some of the pictures in his bedroom. I purchased a small version of the Board book. It was my fault that I didn't read the product details, they were accurate, but keep in mind that editions vary in size. A friend had a larger version that did more justice to the illustrations.
