my go- to guide for information on everything toddler!
Before I call the doctor, I look here for all medical and first aid issues. Plus there is realistic information about interacting with toddlers in many different situations, such as toilet training, tantrums, eating and all the daily struggles that normal parents deal with. Most information is addressed in a question and answer format, so that you can skip the issue at hand. And the table of contents leads you directly to where you want to be in order to solve an immediate problem. Written by a doctorparent, the book is for normal parents seeking practical detailed information. It is always useful to take a second opinion or to take a step back and to look at a problem from an outsider's view.

   Lifesaver.
I worked my way through this book, as I did with the book Baby 411, which I received as a gift when my son was born in 2013. This book was an absolute lifesaver as a first time mom and was given to me by a friend who is a doctor in Chicago. In a sea of baby books, I just liked having a reference that I knew I could depend on, Baby 411 and Toddler 411 are definitely those books that I keep within easy reach.

honest advice in a way that is easy to understand and implement
This is a very practical and helpful guide for parenting a toddler that we really trust. The chapter on discipline was very helpful. It helped us to come up with a strategy that allows us to feel like we're in charge while still having a lot of fun. Nutrition, diet, and food chapters are also very useful.

The Majoirty of my questions and concerns were answered quickly and if you have twins, every minute is needed! I now give this book constantly out! My God! ''

this is the best Toddler reference out there
This is the best reference for Toddlers out there, bar none. Other books are good, but what makes this superior is how it is organized and that it contains content that has both a real world experience of a child and a mother's perspective. In fact, the writers are mother-paediatricians! Well done, ladiesdoctors!

Great reference! the advice started working right away!
This book is great and the tricksadvice started right away working. It makes me feel so much better to have a reference like this at my finger tips, especially since I have a 2 month old and do not have a lot of time to try different parenting techniques. This book gives you the tools you need to manage a toddler.

A must have for the busy parent to have in your personal library
This is a quick reference book to have if there is an occurrence or repeated situation that may be handled better. I find that when I use the easy to find index and research the behavior, I read further about this topic and others that are instrumental to the child, stage and age. I often give this book, Baby 411, and Pregnancy 411 to new parents who say they are grateful for their own copy of the book to use and mark as they wish.

   Was expecting more details
I was hoping this book would read more like Baby 411, but it does not because it covers a much broader age. I bought it when my daughter was a year old to read about behavior, feeding, sleeping parents, but for her age it was not really useful. Probably it will be better for parents of older children.

It feels like I have a doctor available to me at all ...
It makes me feel like I have a doctor available to me at all times in these pages. I am a worrier. When it comes to parenting for the first time, peace of mind is priceless, and this book will definitely offer it for me. I would recommend this to anyone, there is so much information that covers any possible question I have ever had. I could have done parenting without it, but I sure don 't want to!
