Do not recommend!

It would not be recommended to anyone I know. The content was common sense type stuff and very surface level, with only a verse and a blurb about God, McBride said. The book is mostly about her husband, Pauley, and their relationship. My boyfriend and I made it to about week 26 and gave up because we weren't getting anything from it and it was boring. If you want to improve or grow closer to your partner, I recommend you try the 101 questions to Ask Before You Get Engaged, which is also great for beginners. If you want to have a devotional feel, just start reading Matthew from the Bible and pray together. It will save you money and have a more meaningful time together, he said.

Not for us
Derived From Web , Mar 10, 2021
I read reviews before purchasing and I saw how a lot of people said it wasn't an in-depth devotional. I'm not that good at math, so I thought it would be nice. We sit down and it takes us less than 5 minutes to read through the entire experience and to respond to the prayer prompts. We stopped for 4 lessons. It's just a summary of an experience, a prayer prompt. I don't see it us closer together to god.

Great topics and prayer prompts
Derived From Web , Sep 10, 2020
We're 11 chapters in and we love it. They're also a good length for us because they're easy to fit in, Mr. Dhaliwal said. One thing that would have made this book even better is if there had been a couple of discussion questions at the end of each devotional.

No actual verses
Derived From Web , Aug 4, 2020
Purchased this with the thought that my boyfriend and I could use for pursuing reading the bible together, but there isn't really any bible verses to use for couples, more of a manual on how to work through a relationship. We do use it as we both have had broken marriages and realize both parties need to work to make a relationship work with compromise and sharing discussions, he said.

A Few Weeks in, and We're Stronger Than Ever
Derived From Web , Jun 29, 2020
While I have been working through this for the past few weeks, we have been able to have the best conversations and prayer times, she said. This devotional prompts a lot of serious development needed in anticipation of a Godly marriage, Raymond said. We like to take turns reading each week to one another, but that's not required. It adds a nice little routine to it, Tunick said. Definitely set aside about an hour for each chapter, but the conversations that come from them can be long, detailed, and very important. Please, don't hesitate to buy, hope whoever else does this has the same wonderful results we've seen.

Great for new couples
Derived From Web , Jan 9, 2020
This book is a great introduction to Christian relationships and couples looking to know each other better. While I and my fiance found some of the content helpful, we felt that the majority of the devotionals covered that we had already tackled in our relationship. We felt that the book didn't go into deep enough topics that engaged and long-term dating could benefit from, Morgenthau said. There are some good devotionals here, but they are short and there is no clear path to salvation. I think this would be a great book for a new couple who is dating with the goal of marriage, Morgenthau said.

It has great writing, but doesn't use much scripture. I won't be using this book with my boyfriend because I found a better one.

My boyfriend and I both love this devotional. We do a daily Bible devotion and then use this book weekly to focus on growing in Christ. Funny, smart, and talks about real life issues.

Disappointing content
Derived From Web , Jan 26, 2019
Like the concept, but disappointed in the end product. However, it is sorely lacking in discussion prompts, questions, bible references or depth. We're really disappointed, Mr. Caramore said. We ordered the Love the Language devotional and IT LOVE!
