Honestly, there is no story here. Cats : description describes just different types of cats. Even the ending is terrible. My son loves cats, that is why I bought it. I was looking for a story book, and I didn 't get it.

Very funny book that rhymes
Derived From Web , Mar 3, 2021
My daughter is a new reader and finds this book funny. Once she learned how to read it, she went back and reread it 3 or 4 times in a row, and laughed with joy each time. It rhymes so that it is fun to read and helps in learning the sounds that different letter combinations make.

This book is ideal for beginning readers. It is ideal for beginning readers. There are about two words on each page and it is fairly easy for children to figure out what the words are using the illustrations. The story is also cute.

Great for beginning readers
Derived From Web , Sep 9, 2020
My kid loves cats, so that this was a no-brainier. Simple words, repetition of sounds, but still varied. Perfect for a child who is comfortable with their phonics. Hilary - illustrations are fun context clues. I found some of the step 1 books too complicated, but this is great.

Love it

This year, school was difficult with homeschooling, rather than traditional schooling. Aside from missing her friends, we have struggled to get our daughter interested in reading. Too Many Cats is a nice early reader book with attractive and kid-friendly illustrations. Both my six-year-old daughter and my three-year-old son enjoy this book and other early readers. I like that the story is simple, the page isn 't overly filled with words and provides repetition for children to pick up each word after a few readings.

And her first word was meow. This book has wonderful, interesting pictures and simple words for a beginning reader. Cat will find a great book for your cat!
