Love it but I needed to ask for help

I had to ask for help on some advanced parts, since I am not that difficult with reading music. A few songs are hard for me to see where the verses wrap or where to jump to the end. It would be nice to know its a book for not-so advanced piano players, to explain that in an appendix and even add general instructions on the symbols. The song Blessings '' was the most difficult for me in this regard. But I play what I can and enjoy it tremendously!

Names of songs are good, but arrangements are not great and are not easy to play. I regret receiving this book. I want arrangements that are playable and awesome intermediate. Just because many people write piano lessons does not mean that music should be quit in mind only for them. Many books will say easier when they are harder. This book is too easy and even the most simple piano people may not like the arrangement.

perfect for older beginners

I liked this collection of Contemporary Christian Songs ''. The difficulty level was just right... I would say that you would need about 1 year of piano lessons to start some of the easier songs in the book. It does have a range of including slightly more difficult songs, which is great as you grow in skill. Even though they are nicer, the arrangements are more difficult. I also liked the size of the print... it was easy to read.

Reading other reviews, I was not sure if this was truly an easy piano book. I needed a song from this book to play at a funeral. Really wanted to see a sample of the interior and couldn t find one. This is why I post a picture.

The music was easy to read

To give you a level of my ability, I took 3 years of piano lessons in the elementary school and have not played since. I can play the base clef with some breaks between notes and, if I was willing to work on the piece for a while, figure out both clefs together. The range in the pieces is 2-3 octaves wide.

These songs are easy to learn. But that does not mean that they sound easy. These are good songs that students can play quickly, but still have fun and sometimes a bit of a challenge depending on their level. My students in the Faber - Levels three and four easily play out of this book.
