   So big and beautiful
Every book I have brought home of this author has become an instant favorite. They are all big, beautiful and well worth the money I don 't want to shell out for them. Though I never stop doing so after I regret my grumbles. Great gift for toddlers, seeing as parents are unlikely to realize the quality for the buck and may be deterred by the price tag. Babies would probably love babies as well. Go on auntie, go on grannie, get on pumpkin thekr new favorite book.

Wonderful way to get toddlers thinking about letter formation
Love the simple but bold pages that don 't distract the attention of the baby as he focuses on tracing raised letters, practicing fine motor skills while learning the alphabet. Confused that N comes before M, however, the publisher should have caught and changed that.

Really heavy and not very clever
I am not impressed at all with this book, it has plain but cute pictures. It is not a touch a feel book, like I had been experiencing. My daughter was bored before we made it halfway through. It is just the alphabet cut on one side and an area glued on the other side so that you can still close the book. It is also so heavy that I can hardly read it on my 16 month old lap, while we set it. It will be helpful to learn to write a letter maybe. Otherwise, it is pretty pricey for what it is. We enjoyed other books my daughter ordered much more.

   tactile abc book
I buy quite a few ABC books for my grandsons, because each book is different and while you might think that an ABC book is great for teaching the alphabet, a variety of ABC books are also great for expanding the vocabulary and also enriching the world. That said, this is the most tactile-themed ABC book i've come across. i've given this to my 1 year old grandson, whose mother is a teacher. When she opened the book she lit up when she opened it up! The book is clever and enticing. You 'll want to touch the book and explore the curves and grooves and the raised letters. The book is THICK and not one you'll want a toddler yanking from a shelf, as often happens with toddlers and books.

   Damaged
The book itself is very nice, but I was disappointed with the shipping. The corners of the book were dents, and there is a hole in the back of the cover.

beautiful, detailed book for little ones (great gift!)
This book is more beautiful than I pictured from the images. It's also a lot bigger than usual! I read this with my 1yo that weekend, and he enjoyed touching the pages and feeling the warmth. It's the kind of book that you want to read every day with your kid, but also take good care of to keep for a future generation. i'm glad i have splurged on this and hope we can get others by this creative and innovative author. i have never seen a child book quite like this! An excellent gift to anyone expecting or for a first birthday would be an excellent gift.

   What a beautiful book!
This book is so clever that the raised letters fit in the opposite page into cutouts. The colors are bright and engaging for a young child. My 2 yr old was immediately happy to sit with me and repeatedly flip back and forth through the pages, which she does almost never. She pointed out all the letters and animals she recognized and I think that yak is her new favorite word!

   Just great.
Board book of excellent quality. For our 9-month-old, gorgeous design, great size and the textured pages are more engaging than the average board book. A favorite of the household.

I love this book for my 20-month-old. I like that he can look at the letters and feel the letters while touching the nice illustrations.
