   Decent reference, lacking a lot of details
As many other reviewers have stated, this book does a decent job of describing how the systems work on these cars and can be troublesome. Unfortunately, there is a lot of missing detail. There is no information at all on the ADD 4WD system, which I had to troubleshoot using sources from elsewhere on the 'net. I would love to include part numbers, but none are included. Some procedures are really confusing because they refer to 3 or 4 other procedures throughout the manual that are not always directly applicable to my model, so that it is easy to lose. In all, it is worth the money, especially as a first reference and complemented by the FSM. I've, however, really wish I could find something more comprehensive.

   Everyone who cares for their own vehicle should have a Haynes manual
That said, I have rebuilt engines out of Haynes manuals as well as a number of other vehicle repairs. I used them for 25 years. With all repairs, there is a certain amount of mechanical aptitude involved, like figuring out HOW to reach that objectamabob out of the space you can not reach behind the engine. But these Haynes - manuals really help a person to find a direction. It is important to spend as little as possible on the manual, though, don 't worry about staining or odors in these books when it is used. The information contained is the important part. I tried the computer - CD repair manuals, but when I am working outside in oil, it is not practical to open a laptop and search.

   Decent repair book
The reason I gave three stars is that it is not quite correct. The new, dry amounts are not correct if you apply them to a fluid engine transfer. It called for 4.5 quarts in the engine, but needed 6 quarts. This caused me minor problems, because I bought what it called for and not extra. However, a great book, printed on newspaper so the photos are not great, but it has most of the information you need. Using online videos is a necessary addiction to watching this book.

   Pretty much what you would expect from any repair manual
Nothing excellent, but has good descriptions and visuals for the DIY types. Definitely handy to have for maintenance and from what I can tell would be pretty helpful for all but the most complex repairs.

   Just OK maunal
The manual is thinnish, the pictures are OK. Could have had more. That is good info, but there is no picture, just an illustration of the 2 bolts holding the filter in place. The hard part is getting to the filter.
